Let the dynamic abstraction of Scotland's ravishing landscapes infuse your space with energy and majesty. This compelling print draws the observer into the wild heart of Glencoe, with its towering peaks and sweeping valleys rendered in vigorous brushstrokes that dance between figuration and abstraction. Emerald hues and misty blues blend on the canvas defining the grandeur of the glens—a symphony of colour that captures the variability of Scottish light and weather. The focal point, a river, cascades through the valley with a vivacity that is almost audible, the whitecaps rendered in impetuous lines that convey the relentless movement of water over stone. Above, formidable mountains rise, their sheer faces simplified into bold planes of colour that flirt with geometrical purity. Subtle shifts in tone evoke a sense of depth and atmosphere, the crevices and slopes shrouded in a delicate obscurity that fosters the viewer's imagination. This piece, part of the cherished 'Scottish Glens' collection, is a poetic interpretation that does more than simply mimic the natural beauty of the Highlands; it evokes the soul-stirring emotions elicited by this majestic landscape. Welcome a sliver of Scotland's untamed spirit into your home or office space and let this print be a focal point that harmonises with both contemporary and traditional decor.

About The Artwork This is an Original Modern oil Painting (palette knife). Sides of the canvas are painted the same way like the canvas itself. Protective coat of varnish applied. The painting is signed on the front and the back. Wire attached. For me creating a painting is fascination, passion and joy, an expression of a dialogue between external events and internal perception. Personality, emotion and energy subconsciously dictate the creation of each facet of the painting, allowing any piece of art to speak for itself and also communicate with people, letting the viewer to find his own reality within such work. I like to allow an element of chance and experimentation with the creation of each piece, and, by doing so, I leave the door open for something magical to happen. The use of palette knife and oil on canvas produce more energetic perspective and vibrancy expression while allowing contrasts ranging from detailed to diffused representations, where light dynamics provide life to art. Inspiration comes from contrasts and light intensity between shadows and clarity based in reality. The living beauty of nature, the uniqueness and charm of the city are the most attractive and exciting. "Trees on the Edge of a Path" was originally an oil on canvas by French artist Eugene Brouillard (1870-1950). This is a giclee print reproduction on fine art paper with archival inks, which produces a museum quality print with vivid colors, clear detail, and will last indefinitely without yellowing. In this dreamy country scene, blue trees cast blue shadows across a lonely dirt road. A few close-ups are included to show the fine detail and color play. A creative and mood evoking addition to many home decor styles. Thanks for looking! (made to order, the print will take 5-7 days to prepare) Giclee Prints - are a bit more costly than regular prints. About The Artwork This is one of the images from my 'Fabstract' collection which is a collection of digital paintings created by myself using traditional techniques, but on a computer. It is based on the concept of capturing an abstract expressionist mood or moment in time of the Yorkshire and Cumbrian landscapes. Throughout the series there is a sense of beauty and drama with an epic vastness, a calm tranquility and a kind of mystery. Leaving parts to the imagination of the viewer to ponder over, Fabstract is a truly curious collection of studies involved in the topographical subject of outdoor space, light and mood. Working closely with a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild, I will supply this painting as a limited edition of 1 of 1 - a Giclee print onto 315gsm archival canvas, using the best longevity inks. The final printed size (784 x 660mm) will include a 3 inch plain border all around the image so that it can be framed without any loss of image. The artwork will be packed very carefully - rolled and bubble-wrapped, inside large diameter toughened cardboard tubes, to ensure that it reaches you in excellent condition. An evocative print captures the raw beauty of Gairloch Harbour amidst a brewing storm. Vivid brushstrokes and a dynamic interplay of light and shadow bring a sense of movement to the sky, where tumultuous clouds in shades of grey, blue and hints of warm gold seem to echo the wild spirit of the Scottish coast. The water beneath mirrors this drama perfectly, reflecting both the turmoil above and the calm of the harbour, in a breathtaking dazzle of colours. In the foreground, the rugged charm of the Scottish landscape is brought to life with textured layers of paint. Golden-orange hues suggest a wild, windswept terrain, dotted with resilient greenery that stands bright against the gathering gloom. A series of quaint white cottages with rust-red roofs line the shore, their simple, sturdy structures a testament to the enduring nature of the local architecture, standing as beacons of warmth and safety against the approaching storm. A lone sailboat with its bright hull moored in the harbour provides a focal point amidst the serene blue waters, hinting at stories of seafaring adventure and the ceaseless call of the sea. The reflection of this vessel ripples gently in the water, adding to the print’s captivating allure. This piece from the 'Scottish Harbours' collection is more than just a visual treat; it's an invitation to ponder the timeless interplay between man, nature, and the elements. Perfect for admirers of Expressionism and lovers of the rugged Scottish coastline, this print is a celebration of nature's drama and the serene beauty found within it.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant hues and bold brushstrokes of this captivating illustration, a vivid depiction of Glen Esk's raw beauty. Steeped in the expressionist tradition, this piece evokes the emotional intensity of Angus's evocative landscape through an explosion of colour and form. The foreground dazzles with a colourful tapestry of purple and green, where a meandering stream reflects the dynamic sky, providing a sense of movement that guides the eye through the lush valley. A central cluster of trees, basking in autumn's fiery palette, contrasts sharply against the cool tones of the towering mountains in the background. Impasto techniques create a palpable texture, lending each swath of colour a visceral presence that invites the viewer to reach out and touch the rugged terrain. Dashes of bright yellows and oranges suggest the touch of the sun, casting a warm glow over the serene Scottish Glen, while the melancholic purples and blues hint at the waning light of dusk. A silhouetted mountain range draws the backdrop, its vast presence a majestic anchor within the composition, softened by a sky suffused with soft pinks and calming blues of the twilight canopy. This print captures not just the visual splendour of Glen Esk but serves as an emotive interpretation that reaches beyond the mere representation to stir the soul. It’s an homage to the wild and untamed spirit of Scotland’s natural wonders, a sensory sojourn into the Highlands for any admirer of landscape, colour, and impassioned artistry. Embrace the untamed essence of Glen Esk with this exquisite piece, a perfect complement to any collection that celebrates the grandeur of Scottish landscapes.
