Happy Monday! Here is a simple card to participate in this week's MFT Sketch Challenge. This is the sketch for this week's challenge. I know Easter is over but I just bought this Lawn Fawn Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp and this gave me a chance to use it. Unfortunately, I didn't use any MFT products for this challenge but these chicks are overloaded with cuteness. It was a simple card to make. I had a lot of fun colouring the chicks in with Copic markers. They reminded me of Peeps marshmallows. I glued on the bunny hats and cotton tail. I stamped the sentiment with three different coloured Memento inks and then stamped it again with VersaMark ink to emboss it. Afterwards I embossed the white background with the We R Memory Keepers Dots embossing folder and glued on the chicks. Thank you for dropping by. *Hugs* natnatbot

Good morning fellow crafters! Today I want to share some cards I have made over the last week. These are made using the new Lawn Fawn Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set, Meadow Borders Die Set and Stitched Rectangle Frame dies. The above used the new die I got from Laurel Beard. Thank you Laurel. I really love the Peek a Boo look. Papers are from the new Lawn Fawn paper series 'Let's Polka in the Meadow' and 'Perfectly Plaid'. They are beautiful. Have a Blessed Easter to all! Mike

For the Lawnscaping Challenge we had to create a card inspired by a mood board. I used the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set from Lawn Fawn to make a birthday card. I started by stamping the three chicks from the set and I also stamped some balloons. I used the balloons from the Monsters set by Avery Elle. I colored all the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used: Chicks: Y06 – Y08 – Y17 Beaks + feet: YR07 Balloons: BG13 – BG23 – BG49 I fussy cut all the images. I die cut a rectangle with the Double Stitchec Rectangle STAX from My Favorite Things and added the images to the panel with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with Sunflower Ink from Lawn Fawn. The entire panel I adhered with foam tape to some pattern paper, from the Perfectly Plaid 6x6 paper pad by Lawn Fawn. As a finishing touch I added a white line to the balloons and some glitter with the Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle Pen. Be sure to check out the Lawnscaping Challenge ! Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope everyone has had a great week, I took a break the last couple days to restock my design area and by that I mean reorganize it and create a bigger mess. Now I know what supplies I need more of and what I have to start using in my stash. It’s Friday and time to showcase this cute kitten in her onesie hanging out with some baby chicks. We had a beautiful sunset this week and that is what inspired the background of this card. Thanks for stopping by, CARD RECIPE STAMPS: Sunny Studio Stamps Purrfect Birthday. Lawn Fawn, Chiry Chirp Chirp. PAPER: Bristol Smooth. Neenah Solar White 110. Imaginisce Gingerbread Village. INK: SSS Intense Black. DI Spiced Marmalade, DI Abandoned Coral. TOOLS: Big Shot. SUPPLIES: Foam Tape, Blueprints 13, Glossy Accents, Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter.
When I used the Chirpy Chirp Chirp stamp set by Lawn Fawn the other day, this idea popped into my head later that same day. I started on the background. I stamped the solid Easter egg several times, creating my own pattern paper. I picked the colors based on a pattern from the Perfectly Plaid collection from Lawn Fawn. I will use this paper later as well. I used four Lawn Fawn Inks: Freshly Cut Grass Ink, Fish Tank Ink, Wild Rose Ink and Carrot Ink. I stamped the three chicks from the stamp set and added the bunny ears and some other accessories to them. I also stamped the speech bubble with the musical note. I colored the images with Copic Markers. Chicks: Y00 – Y02 Bunny ears: R22 – R35/ G14 – G05/ B02 – B05/ C0 Beaks + feet: YR04 Basket: B02 – B05 Flower: R22/ Y02/ G14 I fussy cut the images. I trimmed a strip of coral cardstock, matching the Wild Rose Ink on the background. I stamped the sentiment onto it. I added a piece of vellum onto the background, to mute the colors a bit. I adhered this background to the Perfectly Plaid patter paper. Then I adhered the strip, the chicks and the speech bubble. I adhered the panel onto a green cardbase. I’m super happy with this card, it gets me in the mood for Spring/ Easter. Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave a comment and follow/ subscribe to my blog!

I just received this sweet Spring set from Lawn Fawn, called Chirpy Chirp Chirp. It can be used for Easter cards, but also for baby cards, friendship cards, birthday cards and other occasions. I made one for a friend. I started with the background. I took some blue cardstock as my panel. I cut some white cardstock and die cut the top with the Puffy Cloud Borders from Lawn Fawn. I did the same with some pattern paper. For this I used the Shimelle (True Stories) 6x6 paper pad by American Crafts. I adhered all of these papers flat onto each other. I stamped one of the chicks, the paint brush and the bucket onto some white cardstock. I colored them with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used: Chick: Y02 – Y08 – Y17/ YR07 Paint: BV05 – B05 – B28 Paint bucket: W2 – W5 Paint brush: E11 – E15 – E25/ YR07 I fussy cut all the images and placed them on my panel. I stamped the sentiment with Fish Tank Ink from Lawn Fawn and wanted it to look like the chick painted the sentiment. I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the chick and the paint on the brush and bucket. Finally I adhered the panel to a yellow cardbase. A very simple card, but hopefully something to cheer up my friend. Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave a comment and follow/ subscribe to my blog!
