Whenever I see plants that multiply in geometric splendor, I am reminded that there is a pattern underlying life that is somewhat unconscious by nature. Plants adapt to their environment and they grow based on a fixed inherent nature that will either flourish or wither based upon the environment where they are planted. We are the same way. It’s pretty common to find ourselves in situations where words are thrown around in public and you don’t know the meaning. I often find myself nodding when I am not entirely sure of the terms so I don’t embarrass myself. People learn every day, there is always an opportunity to learn about new things daily. The problem lies in confidently using a word without understanding its implications, causing chaos everywhere just because you choose not to feed your ignorance. I chose to write this because I watched an interview where a woman passionately expressed her views on how men are misogynistic. The interviewer paused and asked her the meaning of misogyny and she went blank. It's okay not to have a say in every discussion, but if you are going to use strong words then understand the context in which they are used. Let's embrace the idea of asking questions and learning actively. Cheers to active learning!

Many of us worry too much about so many things, sometimes to the point where it […]
