In 2016, Guardian Australia published the Nauru Files: 2000 leaked reports from Australia’s offshore immigration detention system. All We Can’t See is a collective creative response to the harrowing stories contained in those bureaucratic documents. An exhibition of works from 33 acclaimed Australian artists, including Ben Quilty, Megan Seres, Josh Yeldham, Abdul Abdullah and Janet Laurence, as well as current and former detainees, All We Can’t See humanises and empathises with the people suffering at the heart of those stories• All We Can’t See is showing at Yellow House gallery until 10 February
Browse Sarah’s Shop OR Tour Sarah’s Art Studio After my time in the Pine Valley of Eastern Oregon, I'm feeling very drawn to these Art Nouveau era images of forested places. Some of them are from Europe and a few from Asia. They put me in a wonderfully contemplative mood.

Bay Area Now 7, the triennial exhibition at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, offers a rare opportunity to view the work of San Quentin inmates/artists, most particularly a portion of a 64-foot mural that will be housed in the prison's dining hall. Due to strict media controls, no one outside the prison had seen the enormous mural before its display at YBCA. Once the exhibition closes in October, the work will again be for the exclusive viewing pleasure of dining inmates, prison guards, and teaching artists.
