I quite fancy these postboxes by Photographer Marc Wendelski. It makes me want to go there and take photos of them myself... maybe roll around on the floor for a bit.
DAD worked closely with the Architect and Contractor to provide a bespoke post room for this student accommodation in Central London. With over 600 mailboxes required, space and accessibility were the main priorities which between us we overcame with back to back islands, as well as wall mounted solutions. Now the students not only have a secure location for their personal mail but also a smart place to congregate and socialise with their fellow peers.

Ferrum’s apartments are distinctive and unique. Exposed brick, concrete and pipework are offset with smooth wooden worktops, leather sofas, and vibrant soft furnishings. Views from south-facing apartments, in particular, are spectacular with wide-reaching views of London to the City, Richmond, and Surrey beyond. Social spaces boast a functional training gymnasium with everything from boxing bags and tyre flip to free weights. Ferrum's gardens feature BBQ’s and dining areas - perfect for summer nights. If you work from home there's a large resident lounge with 100mb/s wifi and charging pads. Finally the roof terrace with 360 panoramic views is one of our best yet. Our mailboxes were designed to be integrated within the postroom that has been exclusively decorated by Japanese street artist Suiko.
The first thing you see when looking for a house is the mailbox; therefore, I decided to update it by creating a DIY mailbox to increase the curb appeal. I chose the same type of wood as our other outdoor structures (trellis, lanterns, obelisk, wooden shutters, and flower box). If you have been following my
