If memory serves me correct Hutchinson Travel,Renfrew was purchased by Arriva Scotland West in around 2000.One of the vehicle to pass over is seen here unused in Greenock depot,orginally new to Cheltenham & Gloucester.
Ashton,Port Glasgow a main competitor in Greenock was bought out in 1997 along with 62 vehilces.Arriva used this against other operators and were given GMS (Greenock Motor Services) fleetnames using Ashton's livery.306 seen above in Greenock bus station on a local service.
