A film camera I've always longed for but never had the chance to own...until now. Purchased off an auction site; the body and lens were extremely well cared for. Seems to be in good working order, but I will test it in the next few days. My foray into 35mm SLR photography began with Minolta. I've owned the XD-11 and the XE-7. I eventually sold the XD-11 (wish I hadn't) but still use the XE-7. The SRT/XE/XD series were the pinnacle of Minolta's film camera lines IMO. Their subsequent cameras began to take on a more "plasticky" nature which seem to have coincided with a change in their logo (from the classy lower case one [above] to the one in all capitals.) Minolta...I really miss them. Please view in Lightbox. Press "L" Nikon D800, Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8D, SB-600 w/Litedome XS, SB-800 w/Rogue Grid and Just Blue gel, triggered remotely with Nikon CLS. SOOC.
