moleskine notebooks aren't nearly as cool or well-made as they are given credit for. Here is a list of American-made and recycled paper notebooks that do good and look good at the same time.
Sometimes you need a flexible planner for getting shit done and taking care of your mental health. That's what the sort of bullet journal is for. #planning #bulletjournal #bulletjournalideas #bulletjournalspreads
Exploring Sichang island in Thailand. As its name says, island is an isolated place and that’s great for creativity. Many artists chose islands for inspiration. Being isolated reduces the chances of finding irritating people (or people in general). If one day an irritating organism appears in your way and makes you angry for whatever reason, that means your awareness level is poor. Even if you have to make effort to ignore it, that also demonstrates a not enough level of awareness. See that unbalanced organisms not as an enemies but as a trainers for your awareness. Once you are calm and better person the victory is instant and overwhelming. It will also confuses them sine they expected angry as an answer and it’s fun. Anyway Thailand is not a place with those kind of people, just the opposite. Incredible good souls everywhere. Btw, I love indigo color more and more everyday 🎈

An artist that could easily convert these drawings into a book with architectural illustrations. Oğuzhan Çengel, has been featured before here on DesignStack, that is for the calibre of his drawings and the professional way in which he displays them. Each drawing / building comes with a two page layout, on what looks like a Moleskine diary or journal. The two pages are mixture of plans, elevations and isometric drawings, beautifully framed by Çengel's writing. i really hope that someone notices his work and commissions it to be made into a book, it would be a shame and a loss if they didn't. Theculturevulture.co.uk have unleashed themed moleskines into the world to be passed from hand to hand and then back again by October in time for 'the big draw' (UK) a big arty party. I was lucky enough to be second in line after tweeting my excitement about the idea! This is my two-page spread. The theme was the Twitter edition 'what are you doing right now', to which my answer was: thinking. So I wrote/drew some of those thoughts. Half of them are about beautiful images/moments/ideas on my mind right now, and the other half is things that make me angry or sad. I would like to correct one thing though- I missed 'cyber' out - I'm actually an anarcho-eco-socialist-cyber-feminist. FYI. Follow @culturevultures on Twitter for more

Have I shown you my pocket Moleskine notebook ? Over the past month I've been testing it out as a daily task tracker aka daily planner. ...
Recently, my parents moved house and I received a stack of my old notebooks, kept safe in the attic of their garage for over a decade. As a teenager, I had journaled pretty much daily, keeping the notebook down the side of my bed, writing late into the night. I remember these books as my closest friends, somewhere I could express, analyse and confide. I remember the joy of coming home to write about a good day at school and the catharsis of feeling the pressure release as the details of a bad one spilled out from...
David Sax on analog ideas and products, such as Moleskine notebooks, that remain viable and popular despite advances in digital technology.
Jose Naranja, a self-described “notebookmaker,” creates works of art out of the typical writing pad. He sells these notes in the form of “The Orange Manuscript,” an elaborate, multilingual exploration of the writer/artist’s mind and observations. The artist considers the work “a love letter to notebooks, a flight of fancy and also a part of me.”
