C'est fait, grâce à sa fameuse pièce "Le Malade imaginaire" (1673), qui nous plonge dans la petite vie tourmentée d'un bourgeois hypocondriaque. Objectifs Faire découvrir la comédie de Molière Sensibiliser les apprenants au français du XVIIè siècle Illustrer un cours sur la consultation médicale Faire des recommandations Jouer une scène théâtrale Vidéo J'ai pensé que pour un public non averti, une adaptation cinématographique serait plus abordable qu'une adaptation théâtrale. C'est pourquoi j'ai choisi le téléfilm de Christian de Chalonge (diffusé en 2008) avec Christian Clavier (Argan), Marie-Anne Chazel (Toinette) et Wladimir Yordanoff (Béralde). Voici l'extrait en question, Acte III Scène X : Pistes d'exploitation Pour commencer, je propose une petite introduction sur Molière. Demandez à vos apprenants s'ils le connaissent, et ce qu'ils savent de ce personnage historique. Faites ensuite visionner la bande annonce du film "Molière" de Laurent Tirard (2007) avec Romain Duris et Fabrice Luchini, pour leur en donner une idée plus précise (cf encadré "Qui est Molière ?" de la fiche pédagogique ci-dessous). Les puristes crieront au scandale, j'en suis navrée, mais nous savons bien qu'une recherche biographique appropriée prendrait beaucoup plus de temps. Proposez ensuite le visionnage de l'extrait du téléfilm, accompagné de questions de compréhension. Téléchargez la fiche : Le Malade imaginaire, dans laquelle vous trouverez le questionnaire et la transcription des passages choisis. Pour clore l'activité, n'oubliez pas de demander aux élèves quelles recommandations ils feraient à Argan pour le soigner. Jeu de rôle ! Pour terminer, on peut faire préparer et jouer une scénette "Chez le docteur", où chaque apprenant jouera un rôle prédéfini (le docteur, le chirurgien, l'assistant, le patient, la victime d'un accident, l'ami du blessé ...).
