Reverend PLOT: A young wedding planner is framed for a crime and struggles to clear her name as she learns that love does not always arrive in a pretty package! Carnegie Kincaid (Durance) is a wedding planner and a perfectionist - in both work and romance. When a murder occurs and a bride (Simmons) is kidnapped surrounding the wedding of a prominent family embroiled in a high profile fraud scandal, Carnegie becomes a suspect. She is questioned by police and pursued by shady news reporter Aaron Gold (Walker). To make matters more terrifying, Carnegie is pretty certain whoever is responsible for the crime is out to get rid of her. As she struggles to clear her name, Carnegie is hounded by a hard-boiled detective (Ravanello) and wooed by a handsome lawyer (Beemer). With her life exploding into a whirlwind mix of danger, mystery and romance, Carnegie begins to realize that love does not always arrive in a pretty package and that the perfect “Prince Charming” she’s been waiting for may not have her best interests in mind. “Wedding Planner Mystery” is a Reel One Entertainment Production. Movie Review: In Wedding Planner Mystery, Carnegie Kincaid may help brides and grooms tie the knot, but can she unravel herself out of murder? As a wedding planner, Carnegie is used to fixing last minute pre-nuptial mishaps… so when she becomes a “person of interest” in a murder investigation... Carnegie must play detective and fix it herself. The Parry family, wealthy and influential in the community, has hired Carnegie Kincaid to plan the wedding of Diane Parry, one week, and cousin Nicky Parry, the next… with the hopes that cousin Michelle Parry, will soon follow. However, Michelle sadly is killed in an automobile accident during Diane’s wedding reception. Suspecting the car, owned by Nicky, was tampered with, the police deem it to be murder, and Carnegie, for various reasons, becomes their main suspect. From there, Carnegie isn’t sure who she can trust. The Parry family, Nicky’s father Douglas and stepmother Clara, reassure her that they want her to continue to plan their daughter Nicky’s wedding, but can Carnegie manage it all, as she keeps her business barely afloat with her partner Eddie, investigates this mystery with her best friend Lily, dates the Parry’s lawyer Holt Walker, denies interview access to an annoying, but increasingly intriguing Press Writer Aaron Gold, and all-the-while dodging bullets, break-ins, and failed brakes, herself? It’s a fascinating mystery for anyone who loves solving clues and guessing who-dun-it! See or Skip: See... if you enjoy a good mystery! --

Get out your sunnies and sun tan lotion... here comes the sun with Summer Nights coming in June on the Hallmark Channel! See Hallmark favorites... Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Eloise Mumford, Brant Daugherty, Chad Michael Murray and more! Check out all of the movie details below... "SUMMER NIGHTS" on the Hallmark Channel: You Had Me at Aloha Starring: Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith "You Had Me at Aloha" Premieres: Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 9 p.m. PT/ET. Storyline: When the host of a popular travel show resigns, the network enlists Paige (Hutton), to step in for the next season set in Hawaii. Unbeknownst to her, they have also hired Ben (Smith), who likes to push everything to the extreme. As these two new co-hosts clash over their opposing ideas for production, they grapple with the fact that not only do they need each other to further their careers, but they also balance each other on and off the screen. Reviews: ☀ "Their chemistry is spot on! At first I wasn’t into it, but the location really added to my interest in the story," ~Anonymous ☀ "this wasn't my favorite Pascale and Kavan movie. it was good, but it didn't wow me." denise ☀ "We watched You Had Me at Aloha this evening and, as expected, it was charming. Pascale and Kavan are one of. my favorite Hallmark couples and they were adorable in this movie. It didn't top my favorite P&K movie, The Perfect Bride, but it was light and fun and family friendly! .....and who could resist those Hawaiian landscapes!!" ~J.F. Hale ☀ "I loved You Had Me at Aloha! Of course, it may be because they reminded me so much of me and my husband. I'm the planner, and he is all about fun. I like how neither one was shown as bad, just how they complemented each other and brought the best out of each other. These two actors have great chemistry and fantastic comedic timing in everything they do together. Also very family friendly. It does show alcohol being consumed, however, and at one point two minor characters seem to get a little tipsy on cocktails. Other than that, it was good, clean fun." ~melnewlife ☀ "YOU HAD ME AT ALOHA I’ve seen mixed reviews on this, but honestly I really liked this one. Maybe because some of the recent Hallmark movies I’ve watched haven’t been impressive? Pascale and Kavan were both super charming, everything you could ask for in a Hallmark movie. I like the unique storyline. It was funny and entertaining. The chemistry was great. Love their cute banters and bickering. After the movie ended, I already “missed” it and wanted to watch it again. It was a delight. Some compared this to The Perfect Bride, but honestly I’m not a big fan of that due to the love triangle storyline. I much prefer this one than TPB." ~CH Mom ☀ "You Had Me At Aloha was sooooo much fun and very family friendly! I was kinda unsure in the beginning, but the magic of Pascale and Kavan's chemistry pulled me right in. I think I was smiling for most of the movie... there's just something about those two together that brings me joy. Pascale Hutton's character, Paige, is a planner and Kavan Smith's character, Ben, prefers to be more carefree. It was interesting how they both opened up and revealed to one another their reasons for living the way they do. The setting was beautiful and the romance was extra sweet." ~Net, It's a Wonderful Movie ☀ "I agree with everyone else... You Had Me at Aloha was a cute movie." ~~Jane ☀ "Now that I've watched all the new summer movies, I have to say out of all of them, "You Had Me At Aloha" is my most favorite by a long mile. I can't wait to re-watch it again!" ~CH Mom ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀ The Baker's Son Starring: Eloise Mumford and Brant Daugherty Premieres: Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 9 p.m. PT/ET. Storyline: Matt’s (Daugherty) passion transforms his bread from bland to brilliant. But when his bread loses its magic, the island locals panic and turn to Annie (Mumford) –- Matt’s childhood friend and true love –- for help. Review: ☀ "The Baker's Son was a fun rom-com." ~Denise ☀ "The Baker's Son is a fun movie. Loved it!" ~kitkat ☀ "The Baker's Son was quirky and, at times, a bit ridiculous but that was all part of it's charm (along with the beautiful setting). I absolutely loved this fun movie and would consider buying the dvd. Great cast. Family friendly." ~~Jane ☀ THE BAKER'S SON I have to admit the premise was kinda odd at the beginning. The movie turned out to be pretty cute and entertaining though. It's friends-to-lovers kind of story and more on the unique/quirky side of Hallmark than a typical Hallmark movie. The chemistry is definitely there. Eloise Mumford is such a good actress and she really shined here. I would love to watch more of her in Hallmark! ~CH Mom ☀ "The Baker’s Son - I thought this movie was a bit quirky, but I loved the community on the island – and how everyone worked together. So many great characters! A fun little side note: The actor, who portrayed the mayor, Haig Sutherland, was also an actor on a short-lived family TV drama titled Hope Island. On that show, he was basically the island’s errand boy, so it was nice to see him back in an island setting, portraying the opposite side of that, with this mayor role. Back to The Baker’s Son – The one thing I personally could not get used to was Eloise Mumford’s new hair style. I tried. I really did. But I missed her hair being blonde. I guess that’s just what I’m used to from her previous Hallmark movies. Eloise was still fun, though, and Brant Daugherty was adorable, as always. This movie had such a charming feel to it - very family friendly and sweet." ~Net, It's a Wonderful Movie ☀ "I enjoyed The Baker's Son. Brant and Eloise were great together. If the characters married one can only imagine the delicious baked good coming from that little shop." ~Namegirl ☀ "Just watched The Baker's Son yesterday and adored it! The quirky town and the fun, silly premise were a nice summer escape. The lead actors had great chemistry, too. Did anyone else notice that Matt never kissed Nicole? (Or at least, they never showed it.) I liked the contrast of infatuation vs. real love." ~melnewlife ☀ "The Baker's Son I'm afraid I'm going to be the odd one out here. I didn't really buy into this - I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy it to a certain degree but there were a number of things off for me. First of all, I love both Brant Daugherty and Eloise Mumford and I thought they both played their parts well especially Eloise and I personally quite liked her new look. The secenery was lovely and there was some good interaction between them especially the scene in which they watched the movie. Also on the plus side there were a couple of interesting sub-plots among the secondary characters. I have always said that you have to make some allowances with Hallmark but I just could get my head around this plot. Sometimes they took the tiniest bite of the bread and went into raptures over it. Matt had spent the movie lusting after Nicole and his sudden "realisation" that he loved Annie just didn't ring true to me. I personally am not a fan of the whole declaring your love in public aspect with a crowd of interesting spectators looking on and I found this cringeworthy! Oh....and don't get me started on allowing a dog into the working area of a bread-making shop! Seems though that everyone else here really enjoyed it" - Florence ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀ Her Pen Pal Starring: Mallory Jansen and Josh Sasse Premieres: Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 9 p.m. PT/ET. Storyline: Event planner Victoria (Jansen) can’t wait to attend –- and plan –- her best friend’s wedding in Paris. But when she finds out her ex is bringing a date, Victoria reconnects with her French childhood pen pal (Sasse). Review: ☀ "HER PEN PAL - I liked Mallory Jansen in the "12 Date of Christmas" so it was nice that she's back to Hallmark with another movie. Her Pen Pal is a typical Hallmark story with a special and beautiful backdrop. It was quite enjoyable. Each supporting characters have their own story and conflicts, which is nice. It's pretty nostalgic for me since I had snail mail pen pals too when I was a kid. Jacques' character was so sweet and just too good to be true. Joshua Sasse was super charming. Cameron...ughh I couldn't stand him, just so childish. Came with a new girlfriend but as soon as Victoria had Jacques by her side, he immediately wanted to claim her back. I did love Jen and Victoria having a conversation, I thought that was very mature of them and super refreshing to see. I would have preferred for the ending to be more concrete..like maybe with an epilogue of Victoria move to Paris and run the chateau with Jacques. Overall, Her Pen Pal was enjoyable and sweet. Family friendly, no issues I know of." ~CH Mom ☀ "Her Pen Pal - I loved-loved-loved all of the references to the Audrey Hepburn movie, Sabrina! Awwww.... so sweet! It was definitely a modern movie, with an old-fashioned feel. Paris was lovely, of course, and Jacques (Victoria's first love and childhood pen pal) was handsome and charming. I liked the little tease of a potential love triangle, but it was nice to see Victoria did not waiver on her true feelings, unlike her best friend, the bride-to-be. Her indecisiveness was somewhat annoying, at times. Minus that, it was a beautiful love story in a gorgeous setting. Plus, Mallory Jansen was spectacular, quite Audrey Hepburn-esque! Beyond the kiss, however... I agree, I would've loved just a little more at the end. Family friendly, a delightful watch!" ~Net, It's a Wonderful Movie ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀ Sand Dollar Cove Starring: Chad Michael Murray and Aly Michalka Premieres: Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 9 p.m. PT/ET. Storyline: Real estate development project manager Elli (Michalka) is sent by her company to the quaint, seaside Connecticut town of Sand Dollar Cove to acquire the beachfront property they’ve chosen as the site of their new resort. Brody (Murray), the charming local who holds the deed, wants to make sure the town’s beloved pier -- where many memories have been made over the years -- remains intact. Elli and Brody spend time together while she tries to figure out a way to make the deal work and the undeniable connection between them grows. Based on the book by Nancy Naigle. Reviews: ☀ "I love the movie: “Sand Dollar Cove”, is fun to watch Elli, Brody, & Millie to build sand castle competition by adding castle, moat, & drawbridge unless the Mayor Holden announces the winner of Sand Castle Competition is Millicent “Milly” Johnson so, she gets the prize until they win sand castle competition when Brody’s Grandma named Sandy (They called her Nana) whose owns her Sol-Mates Bed & Breakfast when Elli arrived att Bed &’Breakfast & she gonna make clambake near her house with townspeople with Elli. Townspeople prepare clambake & backyard supplies for backyard party night. Elli is never eaten clambake before in the middle of the night but it’s her first time." ~Anonymous ☀ "SAND DOLLAR COVE - Is this Aly Michalka's first movie in Hallmark? I have to say she doesn't "feel" like the typical Hallmark actress but that's not necessarily a bad thing. She is so pretty and I LOVE all the outfit she was wearing. The premise of the story is super typical Hallmark, but the way the story flow (friendly negotiating with each other, instead of getting upset/arguing) was quite nice. It was probably on the border of forgettable but it was a nice and easy watch. I didn't see any issues and everything seemed family friendly to me. Now that i've watched all the new summer movies, I have to say out of all of them, "You Had Me At Aloha" is my most favorite by a long mile. I can't wait to re-watch it again!" ~CH Mom ☀ "Sand Dollar Cove - I enjoyed this lighthearted, easy-breezy summer movie. Chad Michael Murray portrays laid back, Brody Bradshaw, a local Sand Dollar Cove native, who has extensive ties there to his families’ roots, the town’s history and the people, especially his grandmother, who he calls Nan, his sister, Pam, and adorable niece, Lily. Elli Everson, portrayed by Aly Michalka, arrives in town for business; however, she instantly begins to fall for this coastal town and perhaps, Brody Bradshaw, too. This family friendly film sometimes moves at a slower pace, but it is still an entertaining, pleasant movie overall. I was personally taken by many of the lovely dresses Aly Michalka wore throughout the movie, and Chad Michael Murray was as charming as ever. I look forward to "sea"-ing this movie again!" ~ Net, It's a Wonderful Movie ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀ Please note: If you'd like to share a review on whether a film is family-friendly, please leave your thoughts in comments below and I'll post your review above. We've waited an entire season for this incredible moment, and now... here it is upon us! Most of the time we never want "When Calls the Heart" to come to an end, but this time around, we just desperately want it to begin and answer all of our week-long burning questions from the sudden end to episode nine. (Please read my updated review of the Season 5 Finale - HERE!) "When Calls the Heart" Season 5 Poster - via: Hallmark Crown Media Many have been asking, "Can children watch this finale episode?" Without question, we've all considered "WCTH" to be a family show before, one special time each Sunday when all ages could typically come together and share an hour of entertainment. I sincerely hope there is a positive outcome ahead in the finale, but since none of us know what news will be revealed next, we cannot be certain if young viewers should be watching. The abrupt end to episode nine broke many Hearties hearts, young and old alike. Daniel Lissing should be quite honored that his character means so much to all the "WCTH" fans. I've heard many parents say they will be previewing before their young children see this episode, which I think, sadly, is a good idea. At this time, we cannot trust that the show will be appropriate for family viewing, for all ages, but I do hope our faith will be restored. We watch the Hallmark Channel, "the Heart of TV," to escape reality for a little while, to be uplifted, and encouraged... let's hope season 5 ends with more of these themes. Throughout this season of "When Calls the Heart" we've all felt a gamut of emotions... Blessed ...when "When Calls the Heart" returned in February for Season 5. Forgiveness ...when Abigail testified on behalf of Henry Gowen. Patience ...when Elizabeth missed Jack while he was in the Northern Territory. Optimistic ...when Abigail convinced the railroad to build its depot in Hope Valley. Proud ...when Julie Thatcher came to Hope Valley and announced she was going to be a teacher, too, just like Elizabeth. Jealous ...when Clara thought she might be loosing Jesse to Julie. Tension ...when the Bank could not pay out any funds. Sad ...when sweet Phillip had trouble seeing and needed to go to the children's hospital. Faith ...when Pastor Frank returned to Hope Valley, but felt a calling to return - to help the children. Joy ...when Jack returned to Hope Valley and he and Elizabeth decided to get married. Determination ...when Rosemary helped Elizabeth plan their wedding in such a short time. Confident ...when Jack visited Elizabeth's Father and asked for his blessing. Concerned ...when the children accidentally set the church on fire, practicing for the wedding ceremony. Grateful ...when Jack rescued Opal from the fiery flames. Admiration ...when the town came together to rebuild the church. Love, beyond measure ...when Jack and Elizabeth exchanged vows on their wedding day. Promise ...when Jack and Elizabeth talked about their future, children, and building their home. Suspicious ...when A.J Foster returned - turning herself into Sheriff Bill Avery. Enthusiastic ...when the children of Hope Valley followed business leaders for the day. Honored ...when Cody decides he wants to be a businessman, just like Lee. Troubled ...when Bill Avery protects A.J. and is bitten by a snake. Betrayed ...when it appeared Henry Gowan was going to return to a life of crime. Pride ...when Jesse admitted to Clara he hadn't finished the 8th grade, but was still trying to learn. Optimistic ...when Dr. Carson Shepherd successfully performed his Sister-n-Law's operation. Victorious ...when Abigail finds and secures a sound investor for Hope Valley. Amused ...when Cody and Robert drop Dr. Shepherd's birthday cake and try their best to bake another one. Shock ...when the Mountie delivered sad news to Elizabeth (presumably about Jack). Surprised ...when this news was delivered at the end of the episode, leaving us waiting an entire week to find out what really happened. Apprehension ...as we await the Finale of this season. Hope ...as we most assuredly "hope" that Season 5 ends, somehow, with everyone's hearts happy once again! While I was most definitely shocked, like many of you, on how episode 9, "In My Dreams" ended and somewhat hurt they would play on our emotions so strongly, I am still filled with great hope... it is Hallmark and Hope Valley, after all. I am hopeful there will be a positive conclusion to this season, it's just a feeling I have, possibly like Rosemary's woman's intuition! However, we shall all have to wait and see how this season finishes out... we definitely need some hope before Season 6!
