Denn aus der Vogelperspektive über dem Wüstenwunderland des Sossusvlei National Park schwebend versteht man, warum dies als eine der spektakulärsten Landschaften des südlichen Afrika gilt (mangels eigener Flügel musste ich allerdings auf eine Cessna zurückgreifen, ohne Kleinkinder an Bord). Wieder am Boden besteht das Hauptproblem darin, irgendwie die Touristenmassen zu umschippen. Ein paar Extrascheine etwa helfen dabei, die Guards zu überzeugen, einen trotz beschränkter Öffnungszeiten auch während der „Magic Hour“ im Park verweilen zu lassen.
