South of the Dom in Regensburg, the humble exterior of the graceful Alte Kapelle belies the amazing interior with its rich rococo decorations. The core of the church is about 1000 years old. Gothic vaulted ceilings were added in the Middle Ages. This iconic Bavarian Roccoco church is usually open only during services. I was fortunate to get a tour from one of the architects who worked on rennovations. www.catholicnews.com/data/stories/cns/0605204.htm
