Byron was thd first person I saw devouring an alcoholic drink in a soft packet form. While he is above alcohol misuse he may have tipped off the okd folk. Apparently, proma saki’s aint bad.
Planes and trains have a simple option, booking window seats. I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t. Hot tip, book the window seat on the side with the good views. Why wouldn’t you?
This tub has been a labor of love, frustration, money and connections. Pictured are three back packs with airbags, graphite cannisters, shovels, probes and beacons. Getting the right information was hard, getting the hardware was more so.
After nights like last night my first txt to Matt is: ‘’Are you alive?’ Followed by 🤞🤞🤞
The megalithic hotel we stayed in had a saki vending machine. It cost ¥100, and was located in the heart of the building amungst shops. It accidentally became a meeting point. I started to see ¥100 coins as saki tokens. We met others there and shouted sake to strangers and each other. The bottle in the photo was our favourite. As i was leaving the hotel, still in my boarding gear I noticed the bottle and purchased one. Matt arrived at the car with one as well. We had a laugh and went back to buy two more. Unfortunately, they only had one more. Happy days.
Talking forbidden. Power drinking acceptable. Any questions?
After my first karaoke experience where I learned singing is MANDATORY. I softened up and thought about song selection. Mike let me know Piano man was his. Lucky to be invited to do a duet which was hilarious and beautiful!
In Japan people line up by putting their boards on the steps to hold their place. This is what the view looks like from the good seats. What you can’t see from this photo is that after the stairs the line of boards gors around the stairs and out the door. First lines are very, very special. It’s addictive.
This storm is getting serious. 1.5m of snow. I pray for everyone’s safety each morning. And get SO FUCKING EXCITED!
Four of these seven bottles are 1.8lt. Aaaaand its the good stuff. Samurai juice, sleeping potion, buzz inducing, body warming magic. All water wants to grow up to he saki.
This is what Terry and I called ‘Pork Crack’ its hard to find these is Lawsons and Seven Elleven after 1:00 cause the addicts have taken them all. If I knew what the sauce was I would be a dealer.
It snowed so mich that it became an issue. Avalanches, roof’s collapsing, cracks on the mountain 5m deep. Its all a part of the stoke / fear / buzz. Bless.
I thought it was funny that Matt had lost his key. Then I heard a weird noise which was the beer in my jacket spilling onto the floor. Soon after I realised I had also lost my key. Personally, I think Matt loosing his key was funnier than me loosing my key. But who am I to judge? (Rounds of double gins.)
I usually take the blame for the big nights but when I’m coy the boys drag me in like I’ve got a hook in my mouth. Bless.
