A ‘deyre’ (a kind of ‘ücetek’/robe-with-three-panels) from northwestern Anatolia, 1990s. Part of a bridal/festive costume from the Bergama region; ethnic group: Üsküdarlı Türkmen (Alevi). A ‘deyre’ has its front panels adorned on the inside, in order to fold the panels backwards (crossing on the lower back). Made of a striped silk fabric with ikat print; adorned with patchwork and buttons. (Inv.n° üçe031 - Kavak Costume Collection - Antwerpen/Belgium).
