Yeyé Yeyé Ó. Modupé Iya mí for the many blessings.
It's Yemayá Oshún Week! Water is the element that's associated with healing. When we pray to the two waters, in essence, we pray for the healing of the communities of the african diaspora. Not only for our communities but for all of humanity. We pray for the healing of our oceans and rivers and give thanks for the sustenance they provide. It's when we come together to dance and sing in their honor for the blessings and love that they give to their children and those that adore them. 💙💛 Image: RoseC

And when she danced the room would be still. She couldn't hear the drums. So she danced to the beat of her own. Artist: cehfaz
Oshún was outcasted and raised by Ańyá (the spirit that resides in the drum). Anyá taught her all the songs and how to dance to the Orishas. One day while she was dancing, Shangó walked by and the rest was history. I love my parents 🥰 Maferefún Oshún 💛 Maferefún Olufiná❤ Oshún
Happy Our Lady of Charity - Oshún Day to all that celebrate today. Modúpé Iyáloddé for the many blessings. With your essence, may you continue to pour more healing, loving and compassionate energy into this world. May your asé continue to inspire all of us, to fall in love with life over and over again while dancing to the beat of our own drum. Many blessings to all Oló Oshún and all that adore her 💛🙏🏼💫 Adana📌
