“Destroyah, The Titan Killer, The Ultimate Life Form” • Well here he is guys the main big bad you all been waiting for. I really hope you guys like it and that my redesign is good for the Monsterverse if I was hired to redesign all of Destroyah’s forms. I’m more than happy to hear your thoughts. • “Destroyah needs to look like the final boss that Godzilla would fight, something like from a video game” was one of my notes. Destroyah was always my favorite monster and Godzilla villain of all time. If I had the opportunity to redesign a Toho monster for a new movie it would be Destroyah. The problem I had with the old design was his tiny little arms limiting what he could do in the original film. So I redesigned Destroyah to make it look like he can actually kill Titans and do some serious damage to Godzilla. For his built, I think it’s a good balance of a both agile and heavyweight fighter, because he will be more like Godzilla. Destroyah can definitely fly but he’s not a full on flying monster like Rodan or Ghidorah. I like to think he can only fly for a limit time since his wings won’t be able to fully support his body built. I think achieved making him more menacing than Ghidorah and more terrifying than MechaGodzilla since he’s basically the embodiment of Satan and I went all out when it came to making Destroyah demonic and very scary. I didn’t make him like horror level scary, more like metal scary, similar to the demons from Doom which is one of my favorite all time games. I also think my redesign stays true and faithful to the original without making Destroyah what he isn’t and unrecognizable which was another important note.
