This photo shows the construction of the Tyne & Wear Metro bridge which spans the Ouseburn Valley at Byker, Newcastle. It was a recent charity shop find. The photographer's details appear on the back: H.T. Biggs, 60 Springhill Gardens, Newcastle upon Tyne. The photo is undated, but the bridge was opened in November 1982, so I guess it'll be early '80s.
