The Outer Worlds is one of the best games of the year, so it’s a treat tonight to be sharing some of the concept art that went into the game’s production.
I was fortunate enough to not only make weapons for The Outer Worlds, but I also made several high end environment props. These are just a few of my personal favorites. Here is the Captain's Chair of the Unreliable (concept by Bobby Hernandez), the computer terminal (based on a concept by Tor Frick), and some various techy elements used throughout the levels. - Renders from Unreal Engine using layered materials. https://www.artstation.com/bobbyhernandez https://www.artstation.com/snefer

I feel super lucky to have had the chance to be a part of the Outer Worlds dev team when I was working at Obsidian. It was my first time working on a video game and I could not have asked for a cooler project or a better group of people to learn from! This is one of the armor sets I worked on for the Marauders that you fight out in the wild. The final polygon count is; 39,896 Tris. was sculpted in Zbrush, with some Marvelous Designer for the under suit and scarf. Retopo'd in Maya, and textured in Substance painter!

I've had the privilege of working on The Outer Worlds with the extremely talented development team here at Obsidian. I was the level art owner for the Roseway over-lands map, Roseway town map, and the Cleo Lab map. In addition to managing art for these maps, my responsibilities included the following: terrain sculpting and texture layer painting for the over-lands & town maps / skybox, planets and clouds / Foliage & Vegetation / most of the world-building and set dressing for the over-lands and town maps . majority of the set dressing and detail pass as well as lighting for the Cleo Lab map. Along with myself, these maps were also worked on by the talented artists Scott Everts / Terry Hess https://www.artstation.com/terryhess / Adriana Catarino https://www.artstation.com/adrianacatarino / Brandon Rosser https://www.artstation.com/dbjunk / Christopher Logan https://www.artstation.com/mayadesigner / and Sean Dunny https://www.artstation.com/beastofwinter
Hey everyone! So I had the pleasure of working with an amazing team over here at Obsidian on "Murder on Eridanos" the 2nd DLC for The Outer Worlds. Along with asset creation and world building, I also served as the environment lead and assistant Art Director for this project. Designing the visuals for Eridanos was a lot of fun as we were taking the already interesting locations from the base game, and pushing the "wacky" factor a bit. Here are some screen shots from the Orchards and Spaceport islands. Hope you all enjoy, and thanks!
I had the pleasure of working on The Outer Worlds latest dlc Murder on Eridanos with Obsidian Entertainment. I was responsible for both Level art and Lighting in the Pilothouse area and some minor asset creation. I worked alongside the talented artists Gerard Doyle and Shadia Neana for this project who both provided me with feedback and a helping hand whenever needed and both worked on polishing my areas for final delivery.
