Made with an OD Green or FDE/Tan Color PLA plastic here in my workshop in the USA. The choices for this item is a 3 slot, 4 slot, 5 slot and 6 slot organizer with all openings having a radiused front ramp for easier retrieving of your items. (the bottom of the organizer is not completely open as the ramp goes from the vertical wall and curves down towards the bottom of the organizer, see last photo) Not designed to be removed as they fit just inside the rim. These require a little push to get them seated properly in the tin. Not designed to be removed as they fit underneath the lip of the tin. I painted this little oil painting on site (en plein air) at the Gorge in Launceston late last year. People were having picnics, swimming and enjoying the chairlift and nearby walks. The painting surface is a piece of primed balsa wood, approximately 8.2x5.4cm. The painting is taped to the inside of an Altoids style tin. The palette paper is also attached to the base of the tin and you can see all my colours and mixing combinations. Designed to be displayed as is, this original painting and its own pochade box (outdoors painting case) is a unique work of art.

Reuse your leftover mint tin with these handy organizer trays. Available in a variety of configurations. Snaps into a standard Altoids tins or other tin sized 95 x 62 x 20 mm/ 3.75 x2.45 x 0.9 inch (L x W x H). To install, tuck one short side of insert under rim of tin, and apply moderate downward pressure to opposite side of insert until it snaps into tin. Once installed, these inserts are designed for a tight, secure fit and are not meant to be removed. This 3d printed item is made from PLA, a biodegrade plastic made from plant starch. PLA items are durable, but have very low heat resistance. Avoid placing or using this pla item near excessive heat sources, in direct sunlight, or in hot cars, otherwise item may melt or deform. This item is intended for normal indoor conditions only. Due to the porous nature of 3D printing, 3d printed items should never be used for food, beverage, or other uses where sanitation is necessary. 3d printed items have visible layer lines that are noticeable to the touch. Here is a great gift idea for the artist in your life! Create a little travel paint set, using student grade paints. I use mine for art journalling when I'm on the go. Start with an Altoids tin or something similar. You can find a tutorial for altering the outside of your tin here. I added decorative duct tape to the bottom of the inside of the tin just for fun. The lid of the tin functions as a paint palette, so I used white card stock and laminated it with clear packing tape, then secured it to the inside of the lid with double-sided tape. Next, I gathered up some supplies. I cut down a pencil, for sketching, and cut down some brushes and a straw. I use the piece of straw to lengthen my brushes when I am painting. I also added a couple of condiment containers for water, a piece of paper towel, a couple of rubber bands, and a small scraper. The paint pots were cut from a tray of inexpensive student grade water colors and adhered with double-sided tape to a tray made from a laminated piece of card stock. I added a little "tab" to the paint tray to make it easy to get in and out of the tin. All of the loose supplies fit into the bottom of the tin, and the paint tray sits on top. Do you enjoy creating art on the go? I have tested this little kit quite a bit in recent weeks, and I have to say I love, love, love it!
