CARD MEASUREMENTS • Card Base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" Score: 4-1/4" (Basic White Cardstock) • Layer (cut from Paper Pumpkin Card Front) 3-3/4 x 4-1/2" INSTRUCTIONS Cut the Paper Pumpkin card base in half. Trim panel down to 3-3/4 x 4-1/2" Cut (5) 3/4" strips length wise with paper trimmer. Take each 3/4" strip and cut into (3) 1-1/2" pieces. I recommend keeping your pieces in order as you cut (so you don't mix up where the pieces go). Keep your Basic White card base nearby and start to build your scene as you cut your strips into 1-1/2" pieces that will start to look like window panels. My goal was about an 1/8" in-between each panel but I admit I wasn't perfectly precise. For myself, I waited until all of the pieces were laid out before I started gluing the pieces so I could eyeball the layout. If you want to glue as you go you can do that too. I used multipurpose glue for this. Stamp your greeting at the bottom of the card. May Paper Pumpkin Card + Gone Fishing Bundle 2023-2025 Gift Bags (Boho Blue) & Jute Trim INTERACTIVE FISHING/ RETIRMENT CARD CARD MEASUREMENTS • Card Base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" Score: 4-1/4" (Basic White Cardstock) • Layer (cut from Paper Pumpkin Card Front) 4 x 5-1/4" • Die Cut (from Paper Pumpkin Kit) • Piece of twine (from Paper Pumpkin Kit) about 4 or 5 inches • Fish (fussy cut from Let's Go Fishing DSP) INSTRUCTIONS Trim the card front (with water scene) down to 4 x 5-1/4" Use the die from Gone Fishing Bundle that makes a ripple water effect (there is a large and small die of this - I used the larger die) place it in the center near the darker part of the water and die cut with your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Fussy cut (or stamp) a fish. I used the Let's Go Fishing DSP and fussy cut a larger fish. Using a small piece of Tear & Tape, glue the twine to the back of the fish and DO NOT remove the backing of tear and tape. Place it in the die cut ripple water about half in the water. Or, wait until you add dimensionals to back of layer and then add your fish. I recommend foam strips but I was out of them so you can also use regular Stampin' dimensionals. Once you tuck the fish into the water, you should be able to interactively pull the fish out with the twine! If you do not want the fish to move, just glue it instead. May Paper Pumpkin Card + Nested Essentials Dies 2023-2025 Gift Bags (Moody Mauve) & Jute Trim CARD MEASUREMENTS • Card Base: 5-1/2 x 8-1/2" Score: 4-1/4" (Basic White Cardstock) • Layer 1 (Moody Mauve Panel from Exploring In Color Add-On Card ) 4-1/8 x 5-3/8" • Layer 2 (Forest Scene from Paper Pumpkin Kit Card - Back Panel) 4 x 5-1/4" • Layer 3 Die Cut (Moody Mauve Panel from Exploring In Color Add-On Card ) Nested Essentials (Largest Die) • Layer 4 Die Cut (Tent Scene from Paper Pumpkin Kit Card) 2nd Largest Nested Essential Die Cut • Layer 5 Sentiment Banner Die Cut from Kit - Trim to 1-3/4" INSTRUCTIONS Emboss the two pieces of Moody Mauve (from the back panel of add-on cards) with the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Glue the Moody Mauve panel first. Then glue the Paper Pumpkin Forest Scene Card layer next. Glue the Moody Mauve Nested Essential die to the right side of the card. Pop the tent die cut on dimensionals and nest it inside the larger piece of same shape. Stamp Congrats in Wild Wheat ink and trim the banner down to 1-3/4" Add to bottom left of card with dimensionals. CREATING GIFT TAGS FROM ENVELOPES & SCENE CARDS This is optional but a fun way to re-purpose the scenes and patterns on the envelopes. Because June is such a huge month for weddings, anniversaries, graduations, birthdays, FATHER'S DAY... I wanted to touch on gift packaging and tags with this kit. I am using the Tailor Made Tags Dies here along with the Gone Fishing stamp set, 2023-2025 In Color Jute Twine and Gift Bags. Place tags on the scenes or envelope borders and cut where desired. Stamp desired greetings in the white space. If you would like to cut some of the scenes into tag size, I recommend the largest tag and then don't cover it. Just pair with a smaller tag and place the sentiment on the smaller tag or hand write your note or message or gift tag "To" "From" on the back of the big tag! Thread with twine from the kit or Jute Twine in coordinating color. I hope you enjoyed today's alternate card projects with the May 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit! One of the fun features of this month's Paper Pumpkin kit, On My Mind...is the 3 different styles of cards. Last week, I focused on the Come Sail Away coordination. Wasn't that "sailor" card cute? Today, I'm featuring three cards mostly focusing on the Garden Lane kit contents, supplementing with pieces from the sailboat cards. How'd She DO That? Garden Lane Card #1: Trim main panel down to 4-1/4" in length. Adhere to folded card base. From the green striped card base - trim off 1" x 4-1/4" from Mossy Meadow back side - adhere to card. Use Mossy Meadow...

Follow the template below. Use the sections with PP2 (Second Set of Paper Pumpkin Alternatives). You can click on image to enlarge. 2- Cut the Lost Lagoon Cardbase into sections. Follow the template below. Use the sections with PP2 (Second Set of Paper Pumpkin Alternatives). You can click on image to enlarge. Card #1 Lost Lagoon Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” Basic White Cardstock – 1 1/8” x 5 ½” & 5/8” x 2 ¾” Lost Lagoon Cardbase (kit) – 1” x 5 ½” Large Multicolor Butterfly (kit) Gray, Lost Lagoon, Moody Mauve Small Butterflies (kit) Champagne Foil (kit) – 3/8” x 3 ¼” Basic Gray Ink Spot (kit) 1- Add the Lost Lagoon strip to the large white strip with the extra showing on the right side. Add this to the cardbase on the left. 2- Stamp the splatter image with Basic Gray ink randomly on the cardbase, stay away from the strips. I did some on the top left & bottom right area, then created a circle in the center where I will place the butterflies. 3- Add the Large Butterfly with dimensionals on the left of center over the strips. 4- Stamp your greeting on the small white strip with Basic Gray ink. Add the Champagne strip under the greeting with the excess on the left. Angle the edge. Add to the card on the right side with dimensionals only on the right, the left with overlap the butterfly. 5- Add the other three smaller butterflies around the greeting and large butterfly with dimensionals. 6- If you want add some embellishments, I used the Sparkle Gems. Card #2 Pool Party Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” Basic White Cardstock – scrap for greeting Pool Party Cardstock – scrap for die cut Thanks & Beyond Dies Lost Lagoon Ink Pad Lost Lagoon Cardbase (kit) – 3 ¼” x 5 ½” Envelope (kit ) – back piece Champagne Foil (kit) – ¼” x 3 ¼” Basic Gray Ink Spot (kit) 1- Add the Lost Lagoon piece to the center of the cardbase. 2- Die cut the label from the Thanks & Beyond Die from the back of the Envelope. Add this a little higher than center of the cardbase. 3- Angle the ends of the Champagne Foil strip and add to the center of the label. 4- Cut the Butterfly using both dies from Pool Party cardstock. Add to the center of the label with a small dimensional under the center of the butterfly and a glue dot along the outer edge. This will add more dimension to the wings. Slightly bend the center wings up. 5- Stamp “Sending Loving” in Basic White on White Cardstock and fussy cut. Add this to the center of the butterfly with a small dimensional in the center. 6- To finish the greeting, stamp “thoughts your way” in Basic Gray in the center on the inside. If you want add the Butterfly stamp in Lost Lagoon ink over the greeting. I have also created a video walking you through each step.
