The Pareto Principle is the 80/20 rule of marketing, and that 80% of your sales will come from 20% of your customers. The rule I’m talking about today though, is the social media 80/20 rule. This is the concept that you should only be pitching your products and services about 20% of the time, and the other 80% should be educational, informational, inspiring & entertaining. If you're not getting engagement, you're either selling too much, or your message isn't speaking to your ideal client.
