"This is a fun and easy scrap fabric quilt block designed to use your most precious fabric scraps. Perfect for fussy cutting or a modern I Spy Quilt! In essence, we are making a 'frame' for our special fabric scraps and then putting our 'picture frame' on a white wall (our background fabric). Of course, you can have a play with colors but the black frame and white background does a great job of showcasing your most beautiful fabric scraps!"
Soane's fabrics and wallpapers are made in British mills and workshops, employing traditional methods, such as block and screen printing, as well as mechanised processes such as Surflex printing, to create high quality modern fabrics and wallpapers that capture the atmosphere of hand crafted products.

I spent the week making little marks. obsessively. They were small imprints that wanted out of my head. It felt like an unknown language, one that had deeper beginnings. Listening to interviews of world leaders, analysts, pundits and disruptors it came to me that we are all speaking in code. No one
Happy Pinsday! Look at what was on the top of my feed today when I opened my Pinterest: Heads up! On May 1, 2018, we'll update our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service to make them clearer and to address some new privacy laws in Europe. Click Accept to let us know you're okay with the updates. Learn more So, here's the deal, you read the new policy and terms and if there's anything I MUST know, highlight it and email it to me. Hahahaha Let's just see what's really happening in the world of Pinterest, please. Melanie Combs seems interested in my board "Memory / Tee Shirt Quilts." She has some very interesting boards, as well. While there aren't many pins yet, the one she calls techie monster is looking pretty promising. And then there's Quilt Addicts. The name alone has me following, but here are a few more reasons for you to follow: All of these pins (and a few others) are now on a new board that I started titled, "fiber, arts." I'd love to add a few more pinners to this board--let me know if you're interested!

Despite its importance little is known about the processes which went into the creation of such intricate and innovative designs. Currently Julie Wertz, a PhD student, is conducting research into the processes behind the Turkey Red dyeing procedure using these sample books.
