Sabine Weiss's concept of photography is a very humble art. Her simple but artistic way of capturing the people's daily life also captured people's heart.
Pictorialism, an approach to photography that emphasizes beauty of subject matter, tonality, and composition rather than the documentation of reality. The Pictorialist perspective was born in the late 1860s and held sway through the first decade of the 20th century. It approached the camera as a tool that, like the paintbrush and chisel, could be used to make an artistic statement. Thus photographs could have aesthetic value and be linked to the world of art expression. A wonderful, insightful, candid interview with French photographer Alain Laboile, a self-taught master of intimate photography whose subject is his own family.
Hailing from fifteen countries, the individuals participating in Eyes as Big as Plates have backgrounds as varied as their surroundings: there are zoologists, academics, and librarians; fishermen, wild boar hunters, and Sami reindeer herders; and opera singers, kantele players, and artists. They’re tethered by the ongoing project, which dresses each figure in sculptural wearables made of organic materials that allow them to blend in with the surrounding landscape. Launched in 2011 by Norwegian-Finnish artist duo Karoline Hjorth and Riitta Ikonen (previously), Eyes as Big as Plates hinges on the idea that it’s essential to explore how humans exist within nature. Is scribbling art? Do you really think scribbling is art or are you one of those who thinks it is not? The thing is you are not wrong no matter what you think because not all scribbling is art but then not all scribbling is not art. Some types of scribbling can be done by good artists who direct their scribbling to create meaningful and pretty art that can be used to make your home and office look awesome. If you do not believe us, all you need to do is look at the images we have added along with the article to know that scribbled stuff can also be art. This reminds us of those magic shows of old where the magician would call one of the audience to the stage and have him or her scribble whatever he or she likes to do on to a huge board. Then the magician would ask the audience to tell him what they want the scribbles to be converted into. And once the audience agreed upon on what they wanted the scribbles to be converted into, he would do a bit of tweaking and voila, there would be some awesome art on the board. The reason why we mentioned this here is because sometimes looking at scribble art gives you a similar feeling. Sometimes the world of illustrious illustrations to keep you occupied is also on the same lines that can fill you with wonder and joy.

Lu Cong is a contemporary American portrait artist. He is regarded by many as one of the most distinctive young artists to recently emerge from the American West. His paintings center on the faces of his carefully chosen subjects. His style pays homage to 18th Century Romantics, yet is unmistakably conceived in and relevant to the contemporary era. His portraits do not simply capture the physical and emotional state of the subject but rather they establish the complicated psychological interactions that ensue when one comes face to face with the sensual, inexplicable, and unsettling.

About The Artwork Event Winner of 2023 International Photography Awards This photograph was taken the day after Donald Trump’s inauguration. The protest was a response to the political temperature and dismissal of women’s equality, as well the valid concerns of future infringements on women’s rights. Just before sunset looking down 42nd St. In midtown Manhattan, there are people protesting with signs as far as the eye can see. And all one can hear is the unified chant of “this is what democracy looks like”.
