Welcome to our Handcrafted Paper Foliage Workshop led by life-long crafter Corrie Beth Hogg. Corrie’s current art practice combines two of her biggest passions… paper crafting and plants! Always falling in love with the intricacy of a new species of plants, Corrie replicates them into sustainable design pieces that are ready to adorn any table, shelf, or mantle. We are exploring two beautiful paper plants: the black gold philodendron (which is actually that beautifully variated green, yellow and red trailing vine!) and the perfectly on-trend silver dollar eucalyptus. This workshop explores texture, color and paper art in a truly beautiful way. Through carefully layered techniques of wet-on-wet watercolor, colored pencil shading, painting, drawing and wire manipulation, Corrie aligns various crafting materials to construct a life-like botanical display. This kit includes the materials to build a full trailing philodendron houseplant plus sprigs of the silver dollar eucalyptus (explore our add-on kit to dive further into this variety). This workshop includes: An in-depth, digital workshop by Corrie Beth Hogg Tools and materials from artisan supplies, curated for you, by Corrie The tools & materials included in this kit: Custom leaf templates A text weight paper packet designed around the colors found in this month's foliage project Wire cutters Craft scissors Paper wrapped floral wire in two sizes: 20 gauge & 24 gauge Floral tape A set of acrylic paints Soft colored pencil kit A bone folder Craft foam A small flat brush & foam brush A white gel pen Tacky glue Happy making!
