'Polymer clay' sounds like what cyborg golems are made from, but it’s actually the material Aniko Kolesnikova uses to make fantastic book covers.
The love of learning, the sequestered nooks, And all the sweet serenity of books. (Henry Wadsworth Longfellow) I hope you could see why I love this particular piece. A perfect present for your loved-ones who just love to read, your teacher friend, your daughter or for yourself. It is the love that has been put into the work that makes this piece even more special! I hand mixed the colour, shaped and decorate each and every piece. This work is a mixture of simple line and the complexity of the detailed three-dimensional relief that I made with appliqued technique. Using a sharp needle, I applied the dainty pieces of clay to create the illustration on the surface of polymer clay. This piece is made with passion for art and craft and it won't be mistaken for a mass-produced jewelery. The diameter of the pendant is 1 inch (25mm). The hand made polymer clay cabochon is nested in antiqued brass setting and attached to 17 inches antiqued brass chain necklace. The chain is nickel free and lead safe.

These little guys make excellent, one-of-a-kind gifts for gamers, geeks, and dragon lovers. Your custom dragon pendant will be crafted from polymer clay, will be varnished with a gloss glaze, and will be approximately 1.5 inches square. The perfect accessory for casual game night or your next convention. Since this listing is for a made to order pendant and I will be making it from scratch, please allow one to two weeks for me to create and ship your order. A 24" black satin necklace cord is included with your purchase and your pendant will be packed in a small jewelry box, ready for gifting. I do have shorter 20" necklace cords available - if you would like that instead, please send let me know in the 'note to seller' text box during checkout. Otherwise, I will send your dragon on a 24" cord. I try to offer a variety of ready to ship dragon pendants, but the fun part about ordering custom is that you get to choose the colors! When ordering, please fill in your desired colors. Body color is the body of the dragon, while die color refers to the color for the die that the dragon will be wrapped around. For your reference, the fourth photo in this listing shows the clay colors that are available for the dragons' bodies and accents, the fifth photo in this listing shows the different-colored dice that I regularly stock, and the sixth photo shows the different eye color options. Need something even more custom? I do keep a variety of different colored dice on hand and I can mix custom clay colors, so if you want something different from what I'm offering here, just shoot me a note and I'd be happy to work up a custom listing for you. I want to help create a piece of jewelry that you'll be thrilled with, and I am happy to work with you as much or as little as you want. These are additional options that you can specify in your 'note to seller' checkout note. - Accent color (wings/horns) - Wing style (traditional, feathered, or leaf) - Horn style (straight, twisted, curled around the ears, multiple pairs, etc.) - Eye color (see seventh image for an eye color chart) - Pose (see the photos for ideas of the different poses I can make) - Necklace length (24" by default, 20" also available) If I do not receive specific instructions, I will pick whatever pose, colors, etc. I think look best, so if you want something in particular, please let me know. --- In a hurry? Take a look at the ready to ship dragon pendants available in my shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/HowManyDragons?ref=hdr_shop_menu§ion_id=17624105 Looking for a differently styled pendant? I welcome custom orders! Request a custom item to get started - I'd love to hear from you. <3 --- All clay dragons are unique - no molds are used in their creation, and no two are ever the same. Polymer clay is a delicate medium, so please treat your dragon(s) gently. Avoid dropping your dragon on hard surfaces and keep it out of the reach of children and pets. If a dragon gets dusty, you can clean it with a damp cloth. The glaze is water resistant so it can take a bit of water, but don't leave your dragon submerged for long and don't use any cleaning products on it.

Every detail of my polymer clay jewelry is meticulously made by hand. I strive to artistically represent the beauty of natural elements in my designs. The included bronze chain is bronze plated and 17 inches long. Please note that my jewelry is NOT made to order and what is in stock is what’s available. Though I may choose to restock popular items as time allows. Be aware that due to the nature of handmade products slight variances may occur from the picture. Items may also vary slightly in color due to screen resolutions and lighting. Jewelry care: My jewelry is made from polymer clay. Though it is a sturdy material it can be susceptible to breaking or chipping if it is dropped, banged against other hard objects, or exposed to excessive pressure. Treat your jewelry with care. Clean it with gentle soap and water. Be aware that exposure to rubbing alcohol or acetone, will over time eat away the clay.
It made with polymer clay, the size is 17mm, could use any chain or cord with the pendant and there is a variety of colors.

Hi Everyone! I thought I would share a project I made this month using the beautiful Dusty Attic Journal and some mixed media techniques. I started out by using the Dusty Attic Soot paint on the whole outside binding of the journal book. I love the flat black finish it gives! I then brushed some gold paint on the edges of front cover. Next step was to paint the Dusty Attic Corner Scroll #2 and the Mini Cogs with some gold paint brushed with silver paint. Then I made up my polymer clay piece. I shared a mini verson of making a polymer clay design, if you missed it you can view the tutorial below.... I baked off my polymer clay design (adding the chipboard pieces after the piece was baked). I added some cheesecloth spray painted black and brushed with gold paint onto the front cover, and then glued on my finished polymer clay design on top of it all. Next step is to glue on the corner chipboard pieces and add dots of bronze 3D paint (Scribbles) to the edges of the book and on the corner scrolls. Here below you can see a close-up view of the polymer clay piece.... I finished the whole design by adding a variety of ribbons onto the spine of the journal/book. Below I've shown the products I used from Dusty Attic to make up this project. Hope you give some of these techniques a try!! Here is my full list of supplies for this project: Supplies: Dusty Attic Journal Chipboard: Dusty Attic Corner Scrolls #2, Mini Cogs (16 piece) Dusty Attic Color: Acrylic Paints (Soot, Fine Silver, Vintage Gold) Polymer Clay: Sculpey or Fimo (Black, Gold, Green) Mica Powders: Pearlex (multipac) Stamps: Prima frames, K&Company Glass beads, seed beads Other: Cheesecloth, Ribbon, 3D paint Scribbles
