Kids will have fun reading scripture & learning about the 10 plagues of Egypt using the classic "hot potato" game! Get kids excited to read from Exodus in a fun way! Kids focus on reading for meaning to find the missing words from the description of the 10 plagues. Simple teacher instructions and an answer key are included so it's low prep for you! To play, teachers will print out the 10 potatoes and the scripture below them. Tape or glue the scripture (found just below the potato) to the back of each potato. Kids sit in a large circle on the ground , Randomly hand out the potatoes (with the scripture on the back), Start up the music! Each time the music stops, the kids will turn the potato over, read the scripture, and try to figure out the missing words. Instruct them to write the missing words next to the number on their paper. For example, Potato #1 Nile, fish, stink, Egyptians. The game concludes when one student has “got” all 10 potatoes (or when you say it’s over!) I've given simple and clear set-up instructions for game play! All you need to do is print 10 pages and you're ready for a fun and interactive trivia game.
