They will get the basic idea of how projectiles work while discovering mind-blowing concepts, such as that the x component doesn't affect the y component. This is an NGSS-aligned lesson. I found this 1.36 inch long Folsom dart point on August 30, 2007, on a private northern Colorado ranch on a site that I call Shadows on the Trail. When my wife wanted to get me something for our anniversary, a jeweler friend made this ring and you guessed which point was the model.
