I'm not hunting in the wild as much as I was. I posted my last finds here on my blog along with Pyrex I received in trades. Trading is bringing me more of the things I want/need and at the same time I'm parting with pieces I'm not attached to. I still have a mountain of Pyrex I need to trade/sell! But I'll get there!! Just wanted to share this picture I posted on my blog, I just can't help looking at my pretty Pyrex! (Hopelessly addicted), Evie
My happy cabinet is getting a bit crowded! I swear that pink 2qt bowl is actually jammed in there pretty well and is not going to fall. lol

Pyrex!, originally uploaded by jenib320.I was clicking around the blog the other day and realized that the Pyrex Series I did this past spring is sort of difficult to access. Especially for those of you who are new to this blog, I wanted to create a page with individual links to each post! Here is the new page: Pyrex Series And here are the individual links to each topic: - Overview - Favorite Finds - Numbering & Sizing - Favorite Size - Common Patterns - Promotional Patterns - Solid Colors - JAJ, Agee & Clear Pyrex - Cleaning 101 - Questions - Care - Pyrex In Action If anyone has any new questions or topics they'd like discussed here, I'm open to suggestions! :) Enjoy!
I've acquired some fantastic Pyrex pieces lately. My luck to get the small JAJ Gaiety in pink and white snowflakes from a fellow collector...

Pyrex wall!
I have always had a warm place in my heart for mid-century pieces, but the past couple of months it has really started growing. All I do o...
Hi! I’m Sherry and as a new member of The Pyrex Collective, I thought I would share with you a piece of Pyrex that I found just yesterday at a local thrift store. It is a 1-1/2 quart divided Cinderella oval casserole. I was thrilled that it was in great shape and that it came with a lid. Having never seen this pattern before, I flipped through my copy of Barbara Mauzy’s book on Pyrex but it wasn’t there. Then I checked the PyreXFiles and found that it was a 1961 promotional piece called Royal Wheat. While searching for the identity of this casserole, I found that I have several other promotional pieces, but I’ll post about them later after I get some decent pictures. If you would like to read about other vintage items I’ve found, including Pyrex, please visit my blog, Back 2 Vintage. The knowledge of the followers of The Collective is amazing and your enthusiasm is addictive. I look forward to learning from each of you and sharing my finds.
I finally completed my solid pink set. It was an emotional roller coaster trying to get the completed. However, it is finally done! I was also able to add the 404 red to my collection but not without a fight. All is well when the pyrex comes home with me, lol. To read all about to saga to complete my pink set, the battle for the red 404 and my Shirley Temple finds go to Cherrypickedfinds.blogspot.com Posted with Blogsy

All aussie agee! Hostess + mini scallop bowls + 2 baking pans in turquoise and pink
OK, gang...here they are! Minty gravy bowls with matching saucers! I bought two of the 4 I found at the consignment store! I hummed and hawed about getting these. ($12.00 each...highway robbery!) They're JAJ and I really do not collect JAJ....but I've been collecting all sorts of Snowflake patterns, for my X-Mas table, and I need gravy bowls. (Yes, I NEED them....hee-hee...) Mackem says the double spout is designed for both lefties and righties to use. The design didn't last long so I guess these are kinda rare. The tablecloth is a vintage one that was given to me, back in '86, by my MIL (now my ex-MIL...but we're still good friends and she now lives in Canada). It washes up like a rag and never keeps stains!
She will love these Pyrex gifts! The double boiler lets you SEE what's cooking! Entertaining is fun with these dishes! Make the coffee perfect every time.
