About The Artwork Cristina Troufa want to consolidate the idea of a self-portrait and/or self-representation but for other hand wants to reflect on a spiritual, emotional, and psychological inner self-portrait, that may be done conceptually. In her recent works, she uses her own image in autobiographical paintings that explore her life and spiritual beliefs. As a form of self-knowledge and self-questioning, her work explores an inner world in a symbolic way, which remains inaccessible to the voyeur that can only guess what each painting represents. Spanish sculptor David Moreno (previously) continues to blur the lines between two and three dimensions with his architectural artworks. Created using hundreds of steel rods and lengths of piano wire, Moreno’s sculptures take the shape of buildings, and his more recent works have ventured indoors, highlighting interior details like doorways and staircases. In 2017, the artist also created a large, immersive installation in the United Arab Emirates titled “Connecting Doors.” Moreno shares his work on Instagram and Behance. More

"LOVERS" Atmospheric art print of a lovers kiss. Each print depicts the human form in a cool palette of blue and green, exploring naturalistic elements in its undulations. In this way, the natural landscape is projected onto the contours of the face and body. I worked from a black and white photograph, layering colour and focussing on the point of meeting between the two faces. I tried to capture the intensity of desire and anticipation. Size: A4 - 210mm × 297mm Supplied unframed These high quality prints are printed on natural soft textured 315gsm 100% acid free, fine art paper with a very gentle texture. The paper is approved by the Fine Art Trade Guild and used in conjunction with the Lucia pigment inks will ensure a print life of more than 85 years. NOTE: Each print has a 0.7cm border. Carefully packaged in protective cellophane wrapping and a hard-back envelope to prevent bending. Sent by Royal Mail 1st Class signed for. Item shipped from the UK.

Korean artist Choi Xooang (whom we previously featured here) creates hyperreal, resin sculptures that shock with their unexpected, violent manipulations of the human body. His latest body of work features couples and doubles grappling with each other's flesh. In one piece, a woman's fist penetrates the back of another's skull while in another, a masked woman is strapped with a male torso like a backpack, carrying the weight of another's mutated and mutilated body. Choi adds eroticism to these graphic visions. The bodies he chooses to manipulate are graceful and model-esque, yet each one contains its own set of disorienting details that provoke our collective anxieties.
Watercolors have their own place in the world of paintings though some may say that they are not as assertive as oil paints or easy drying as acrylic. While these two points of view are not wrong, we feel that each medium we use to paint has their own niche qualities that make them stand out. Watercolors though a bit more difficult to work with because of the time required to dry out can still hold their own because as the title says, they can be used to create an ethereal effect in paintings, which may not be possible with oil paintings at all times. But before you jump into creating ethereal watercolor art, we suggest that you look at watercolor techniques that you should know to become a superb artist. In this instance, when we are talking about ethereal watercolor art, we are talking about a slightly otherworldly and unrealistic look to the art while keeping the roots in realism.
