UTOVÍAS propone tres intervenciones a distintas escalas para regenerar el barrio de Entrevías. Situado frente a la almendra central, pero separado por un gran desnivel ocupado por la salida de trenes de Atocha y el nudo sur de la m-30, Entrevías está comunicado únicamente mediante Cercanías y una una línea de autobús. Ante estas condiciones infraestructurales, su estado de aislamiento y el valor paisajístico del entorno se propone la creación de un tercer nivel de comunicación. Las pasarelas proponen una nueva narrativa del lugar, capaces de crear un espacio, reinterpretar un tipo estructu- ral, servir de referencia territorial y convertirse así en un nuevo elemento simbólico del paisaje. En la cornisa de Entrevías, donde se produce un cambio de escala – de la territorial a la urbana – se coloca el equipamiento: un condensador urbano que, mediante distin- tos usos y dotaciones de barrio y ciudad, se convierte en un nuevo foco de atracción. Un intercambiador no solo entre escalas sino también de métodos de transporte y de actividad urbana. Por último, una total regeneración del barrio precisa intervenir sobre la vivienda, gran parte de ellas descontextualizadas de las necesidades de hoy en día. A través de la posproducción se trabaja sobre los edi cios preexistentes, entendiendo cómo fueron proyectados, se introducen modi caciones que aportan nuevos signi cados y nuevas posibilidades y formas de habitar. Estas tres intervenciones convierten al barrio de Entrevías en un área vibrante de actividad y vida.
