Hardy Fox, one of the creative forces behind the San Francisco art-rock band the Residents, has died. Or maybe not. In keeping with all things surrounding the infamously anonymous avant-garde pop group, that since 1972 has released more than 40 albums and two dozen multimedia projects, even the state of one of its key members’ mortality remains a mystery. On...
A baby rock wallaby was spotted trying to climb back into its dead mother's pouch. The helpless marsupial was brought to a refuge centre on the island, just off the coast of Townsville, Queensland.

Nobody witnessing the turmoil of 1968 was waiting around for a salve like "The Weight" — or could have predicted how fundamental those songs would become.
Nobody could do camp quite like Klaus Nomi. He left the downtown New York club scene speechless with soaring operatic vocals, dressed in his signature triangular vinyl tuxedo complete with smoke bombs, punk rock nuances and 1950s sci-fi sound effects. On any given night, you could have found a young Jean-Michel Basquiat or Keith Haring…
