We love it when couples select summer camps as a wedding venue! Camps are the perfect rustic wedding location given the fact that almost all of them look rustic already so the amount of decorating a bride and groom need to do is usually limited. This fun wedding was held at Camp Wa Wa Segowea in Massachusetts. From the photographer: The peace of the surrounding area Carly and Devin chose to make their nuptials official completely reflected the peace they share as a couple. They carefully selected Camp Wa Wa Segowea in the picturesque Berkshire Mountains for their wedding day, and were the second or third couple to utilize the property for a wedding. Thanks to Mikkel Paige Photography for sharing this special wedding with us today. In a calm, quiet environment they got married their way. It was 100% them, in an area of New England that only exemplified the beauty of their relationship and the intimacy of friendship that surrounded them. It started with an invitation of craft paper with simple elegant lettering and ended with a bonfire, guitar playing, s’mores making, and star gazing. I know part one of this rustic camp wedding had you “oohing” and “ahhing” and waiting for more so don’t worry, the wait is over. This camp style wedding has some of the most beautiful yet understated centerpieces I have seen in awhile and when you add fun details like a popcorn bar you just can’t go wrong. Tying the knot just 55 miles from Washington D.C., Sarah and Bill had a very rustic yet elegant woodland style wedding. Taking place at a Maryland rustic wedding venue called ThorpeWood this couple had a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a fun and colorful backdrop and then hosted a reception in a barn like building with a true rustic lodge feel. One element from this wedding that I really like is the statement necklace that Sarah the bride wears. I love how it the necklace is big and chunky yet still looks perfectly wedding appropriate.
