Hi Crafty Friends, My daughter's friend Zoe is turning 17 tomorrow and so Chloe gave me a list of what she wanted on the card (ie. red hair, green/hazel eyes, lots of make up and fake tanned skin to look like Zoe). The other request was to make the card pink and black, and I thought "ooh, not sure how this will go with red hair" but I love how it turned out and wouldn't be scared to use these colour combinations again now. I die cut some sparkly black stars, I used Glossy Accents on her lips, bangles, and earrings. I also added some Wink of Stella to her cap but it's not easy to see on the photo. You can find the sassy little image at Saturated Canary. I just bought some new Saturated Canary images on the weekend so I'll be posting a few new cards soon :) I am entering this card into the following challenges: Addicted to Stamps - anything summer Art by Miran - anything goes Brown Sugar - anything goes Chocolate, Coffee & Cards - girls of summer Colouring in Scrapland - 1,2,3 - 1 banner, 2 colours, 3 stars Craft your Passion - anything goes Crafting with Friends - anything goes Crafty Friends - inspired by a song - One of the brightest stars by James Blunt Crafty Gals Corner - sparkle & shine (Glossy Accents, Wink of Stella on cap, glitter stars) Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper - anything goes with patterned paper Crafty Ribbons - summer with ribbon or lace Creative Fingers - anything goes Fairytale Challenges - summer special Fussy & Fancy Friday - say it with flowers Julia Spiri - anything goes with optional twist: garden item (flowers) Lemon Shortbread - anything goes Love to Scrap - anything goes Not Just Cards - anything goes The Paper Shelter - Birthday girl Polkadoodles - use a die cut (banner & stars) Ribbon Girl - June any image Scrapper's Delight - anything goes Send a smile 4 kids - punches or die cuts for kids Simon Says Stamp (Wed) - add some shimmer - Wink of Stella on cap, glittered stars Sisters of Craft - anything goes Sweet Stampin' - seeing stars Have a great day, XOX Lucy
Heisann! Teksten er fra "Just a note" kolleksjonen, og poststempelet er fra Vintage Garden kolleksjonen. Blomstene er fra WOC. Tusen takk for at du besøker bloggen min, og for koselige kommentarer dere legger igjen. You make my day!

Hi, I'm here today with my inspiration card for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps. The more astute of you may recognize Sleeping Beauty from my tutorials, I have coloured her with Distress Markers and reinkers. The papers are from Maja Design, the edges have been distressed with a Tim Holtz tool. I have used loads of goodies from The Ribbon Girl. Hugs, Becky xx
Good morning peeps, I have been having lots of fun with my markers lately! Spending hours just coloring images, not making cards! I've been trying out new color combinations and having lots of fun! You should try it! Here is one of the images. It was so hard to get the hair right, curls are so difficult to color...lol. But us crafters do love a challenge don't we? I'll do the image again later- so you can see if I made any progress:) The challenge over at Copic Marker Norge this fortnight is Birthday! So get your copic markers out, hop over to the challenge blog and have some coloring fun with us! Here's my card. I used another beautiful sketch by Marianne Skjelstad over at Sketchy Colors: The papers are Maja Design Vintage Spring Basic, the La Rue Heart die used is by Memorybox, the butterflies are from a Martha Stewart border, flowers by Unik Hobby and Wild Orchid Crafts. I used some shabby white Frantage around the image. Sentiment is by Norsk Stempelblad AS and the bird inside the card is by Tim Holtz. I used a Saturated Canary image called Jules, I got this one as a freebie on the SC blog ages ago. Thanks Krista! Copic Markers used: Skin: E21-11-00-000, Eyes: E23, lips E32-20, Cheeks: R20 Hair: EE29-25-21 Dress and bow: BV25-23-20, W7-3-1-00 Kitten: W7-5-3-1-00, R32-20 Hope you like it! Please stop by the Copic Marker Norge blog to be inspired by the beautiful creations of my DT colleagues. I would like to enter the following challenges: Deep Ocean challenge: Just for a girl Sketchy Colors: Skisse Card and Scrap: Bruk Dies Vintageutfordringen: Monokromatisk Thanks for stopping by today, wishing you a creative day! Hugs,
Voor een jonge dame, die mijn kaartjes leuk vind. Een ''Saturated Canary'' digitale stempel gebruikt en weer het mooie Maja Design papier. Bedankt weer voor het bezoek en de leuke reacties. This card is on its way to a young lady. I used ''A new canvas'' by Krista Smith and the beautiful Maja Design paper pad. Thank you again for stopping by and the nice comments.
It’s Wild Orchid Crafts challenge day today and this time we’re playing Bingo. I have used that stunning Whimsy Fairy digi from Saturated Canary (can that girlie draw or can that girlie draw!!) I have used those gorgeous Inkido papers from Dies to Die For (two days on the trot – guess who is totally in love with them!!) The Scallop border die and Fancy Tab die are new in at Crafty Sentiments, aren’t they fab!! My embellishments are all from Wild Orchid Crafts - the metal corners I have heat embossed with a pearly peach powder that I have had for years. I had to apply several coats to cover the silver. The flowers are Trellis Rose, 20mm roses, 15mm roses and rhinestones as well as guipure lace. Whimsy has been coloured with Copics and pencils: Skin E11, 00, 000, 0000, R30 for cheeks Hair E47, 44, 41, W00 Dress: R02, 01, 00, 000, 0000 and orange pencil; E43, 41, 40 and warm grey 70% pencil Wings E41, 40 and W00 pencil That’s it from me today, have a great week hugs
Here's my card for the Saturated Canary Challenge #22 to use Black & White, plus one other color. I used a combination of Copic red colors in the R family for this card. I'm new to the Saturated Canary challenges, and my coloring skills don't compare to what I've seen others create, but I just adore her digi images with those big eyes and beautiful hair, so I'll continue trying until I get it right. This was a free image I d/l from her blog, and I just love it! The background was done with black cardstock, and an overlay of white done with a Cheery Lynn small lattice die that is perfectly sized for an A2 card. The flourishes were cut with the Cheery Lynn mini flourishes die in red & white. I added a tiny silver heart charm that just looked like it belonged on this card! I {heart} this darling image!. I added some Spica glitter pen accents to the leaves, dress, and lips but my camera (or photography skills) didn't pick up that detail. If you click the picture it shows up a little clearer for some reason. The red gemstones are from Want2Scrap that I bought at a recent scrapbook expo. Here's another photo done in evening light that might show that detail a little better... Thanks for stopping by today and happy crafting! Carol

Goedemorgen allemaal. Design.
´´Sara´´ again, this time a ´´Lady in red´´ (a surprise for my sweet blog vriend, Xandra); I just love the dress, it´s perfect if you like to colour! Have a nice Sunday and thank you again for stopping by and the lovely comments.

Hello everyone running a wee bit late my DT card, my youngest son was took to hospital yesterday as he came off his bike, he had only been out less than 10 minutes. Nothing serious thank goodness but his face is a mess :-( Was up the hospital for quite a few hours & forgot all about my DT post, sorry :-( Anyhoo's remember when I said I had made something for LLC but our lovely Beck had used the same image so I couldnt use the card..............well today I'm showing you that..... First I will tell you the theme over at Deep Ocean Challenges this fortnight........ SHAPED CARDS ...............yep basically any shape you like...........except square & rectangle ;-) I've used a Go-Kreate die for the shape of the card. The super gorgeous papers are Pion Design 'Paris Flea Market. I've used 'Rose du Jardin 12x12' & 'By The Eiffel Tower 6x6'. I lurve these papers, they are my fave Pion papers. Both of the gorgeous lace is from Live & Love Crafts..........actually except the dies & the sentiment everything is from Live & Love Crafts lol. Inside is of course decorated, all papers have been machine sewn. The sentiment I've used is Stempelglede Just A Note from LLC. When I had finished making this card I actually was quite pleased with it..........that doesnt happen often. So this card is for Natalie off her youngest brother for her birthday in June lol. I've used Magnolia Doo-Hickey dies, the fence, the sprawling ferns & the swirl. I made little banners at the side using the border from the 'Borders 12x12' sheet, distressed them a bit & inked them. I added a Resin Frame & placed a Heart shaped pearl inside..........this was cream but I coloured it red with a Sharpie ;-) I've put a sheet of Maja Design paper behind it so I could capture all the liitle bits ;-) Of course the super gorgeous image is Saturated Canary 'Cherry Blossom', I coloured her with Distress Ink refills & markers. I added a Tree beside her, its a Memory Box die but I cut the frame awy. I punched out lots of circles using a hole punch & turned them into little blossoms. The few larger blossoms are with a small flower punch, shaped them & added pearl dots inside using my pearl pen. I also added small pearl dots around the image. The grass behind the fence I used again a MB die & inked them with Peeled Paint distress ink & put them so they were just peeking out over the fence. Sentiment is LOTV & it got heat embossed with UTEE. Well that's it form me I have wood cladding to put up, so have a busy morning/day lol. Hope you will join us for our Shaped Cards challenge. Thank you so much for stopping by lovelies. Take care & hope you have a super duper day. Lotsa hugs Vicky oxoxox

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to my new followers, I'm so happy that you decided to follow my blog. I seem to be meeting myself coming backwards atm. I have so many mother's day cards to make I need 48 hour days. A couple of birthday ones too, so my apologies for not being a good blogger. I will get round eventually. Today's card was another commission for Easter this time. As soon as I saw this Krista image I knew it would be perfect for the little girl I made it for. I think this image is gorgeous, it's Easter Dress. It's another 8x8, I know the lady who ordered this likes big cards. I cut her out, I wanted to use the paper behind her, and mounted her on a stamped SB grand decorative oval with a grand oval behind it. I added MB corners, leaves and butterfly. A Cheery Lynn Queen Anne lace border, and finally got to use my MFT fishtail flag stacks. Flowers are from WOC. Pearls, charm and ribbon from my stash. The papers are from Nitwits. She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils. I added tumbled glass distress ink the the edges and Glamour Dust to the butterfly. The inside does reflect the front I am entering the following challenges:- Saturated Canary challenge #38 - Good v Evil (definitely good) Crafts and Me challenge #122 - Dies/Punches Divas by Design challenge - Anything goes Flutterby Wednesdays challenge #229 - 3 or more layers I love Promarkers challenge #157 - Lace and pearls Bearly Mine challenge #75 - Anything goes Allsorts challenge week 196 - For a lady Thanks for taking the time to look

Quite a while back I was asked to be a Guest Designer by one of my favorite challenge blogs, Card Mania. This is the week and new challenge that was selected for me and this is my card for the "Pearls and/or gems" challenge. This particular challenge is being sponsored by Bearly Mine Designs and I was graciously supplied with some of Donna's gorgeous digital papers to use on my card. All the designer papers used on this card are from the "Lacey Vintage Dreams" collection. This was definitely another of my kitchen sink cards and I really enjoyed making it. I pulled out lots of goodies I don't normally use. It's hard to tell in the photo but the dark mats are the same deep olive green I used for the leaves and photo corners. The second mat of designer paper was edged with sparkly gold embossing powder as were the photo corners. I edged the two tabs with a gold ink pad and added some fancy crystal brads. The leaves and photo corners were sprayed with a mixture of Gold Perfect Pearls and water for some nice shimmer. The roses were also sprayed and then edged with Diamond Stickles. The butterfly punch was covered with sticky embossing powder and covered with copper glitter. It then got a gold pearl body and pretty pink bling trail. The image is a lovely Saturated Canary called "Roses are red, violets are blue". Hop on over to the Card Mania blog to get all the details on the new challenge and play along. I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges: 2 Sisters--make it sparkle Stampin' For the Weekend--photo/color inspiration Southern Girls--no spoolin' Crafts and Me--anything goes Happy Monday! Hi everyone. Today is my first Challenge over at Saturated Canary Challenges as a Guest Design Team Member. I am so excited as I just love working with Krista's images. This week we are challenged to use Pink, Red and White How easy is that with Valentine's Day coming up soon. I used "Becki" which is the Twin of Belle, by Krista Smith at Saturated Canary and you can get them as a set. HERE. I used some Valentine's paper by The Paper Studio that I got at Hobby Lobby. I added a felt heart and some little chipboard hearts from Colorbok. Here is a close up of "Becki" colored with copics I used some dies from a Big Spellbinder set. I still need to I buy the big machine as I can't use 2 of the dies in the set with my Big Shot. I added some pretty white ribbon and a bow. I added a piece of chipboard on top of the bow with foam tape and some Wild Orchid Crafts Long Stem roses.(oh and I added some Maya Road little heart pins) I distress all the papers with a distressing tool and went over with some Black Soot Distressing Ink. I added dimension to the image and the chipboard pieces with foam tape.(I love that stuff), it just gives you cards that extra 3D look and makes them more interesting.(well at least for me they do) Here are the copic colors I used to color her. Skin: YR000,E00,E000,E11,E21 Hair: C0,C1,C8,C9 Dress:R35,R37,R59,RV99 I can't wait to see what you all create with this challenge. Remember you have to use a Saturated Canary Digi or a Simply Sassy rubber image by Sugar Nellie for our challenges. Go HERE to the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog to see what the DT created. I can't wait to see their creations as they all have different styles. Thanks for stopping by. Hugs:) Angela

Morning everyone I'm here today with a card that I have made with one of the new images from Saturated Canary, Beauty and the Beaker. I love this cutie, I wish I looked like this on my day (and night) job, lol. I have used my Inktense pencils again to colour her in, I have added glamour dust to her too. The papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Autumn Basics, both a 12x12 sheet and the 6x6 paper pad. The shape has been cut using a Go Kreate die, the edges have been distressed both with a Tim Holtz tool, walnut stain and a bit of both. There are links to everything that I have used from Live and Love Crafts are at the end of the post.
