Born in Matlock Derbyshire - UK, Mike Worrall is an British painter🎨 and designer, inspired by historical themes. As a child, Mike Worrall was always intrigued by the paintings that introduced a mystery element to them to draw in the viewer. Since then, Worrall creates paintings that follow that similar direction. He wants to keep the viewer guessing and wondering about what might be the actual message of each painting. In order for a painting to retain a lasting interest to it, Mike Worrall believes that there has to be some mystery behind it.

There is a secret style garden hidden behind Ingress Abbey in Ingress Park. It's not huge but is very pretty and a lovely place for a quiet picnic. This is a beautiful flint gate known as The Grange, which has a path leading to the gardens from the side of the Abbey. N.B Someone reposted this without my permission but has more importantly very naughtily mislead a lot of people who have since blogged and pinned this photo by stating it is 'ancient castle ruins in Scotland'. I'm flattered so many people like the photograph but It is definitely not in Scotland and neither was it part of a castle. Imagine a world in which nature is intertwined with the industrial: giant lotus flowers replace concrete skyscrapers; an urban forest forms a city constantly in shift through a tree’s life cycle. This is the imaginarium of Belgian architect Luc Schuiten. To discover his work is to fall under the spell of a colourful cosmos, where…
www.davidrironsjrphotography.com I hope you are not getting tired of Mount Rainier shots? I have so many from the numerous trips I made this past August, that I want to share them. This year was fantastic for wildflowers with so many flowering at the same time! This was shot on that morning where the mountain was covered in fog and a list mist had been falling. All of the flowers were covered in dew drops, and there just seemed to be a sense of peace while walking the trails above Paradise. This is three exposures merged and tonemapped in Photomatix. I did a little "Dodge and Burn" in Photoshop as well as added a slight vignette in Lightroom. Thank you for your views, comments and faves! I appreciate them. This season's humpback whale migration along the east coast of Australia has been full of action with an abundance of photo-worthy moments. As a Byron Bay-based ocean photographer, I am in a fortunate position to document their journey each year, something I love to do. Over the years my humpback whale photographs have captivated the hearts and minds of viewers, showcasing the awe-inspiring beauty and majestic nature of these gentle giants.

We humans often build roads and bridges, canals and ports, even entire cities at the expense of the environment. But nature isn't planning on giving up. On the contrary, it is determined to persevere, showing just how fragile our creations are.
When buildings are abandoned and forgotten, it's the end of a story. Slowly these old structures will be reclaimed by their environment. This process of
The lakes of the Adirondacks were loaded with water lilies, something I am not use to paddling around. I tried for a different perspective by shooting underwater up through the lily pads as the sun rays shined through. ----- July 29th to August 2nd, my brother and I kayaked the first map of the the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, Old Forge to Long Lake in the Adirondacks of New York. It was an incredible adventure through a pond, 11 lakes, a boggy marsh and 1 river. We set up primitive camping each night in different locations, Seventh Lake, Raquette Lake, Forked Lake and Raquette River. I used two cameras through the journey, a waterproof point and shoot and my Nikon DSLR. Become a Fan on Facebook! PLEASE NOTE: All Rights are Reserved.
