Wear safety glasses when cutting and sewing, bits of sequin will fly and hit you in the face. You want to protect you eyes. . Use a heavier weight needle on your sewing machine and your overlocker. . Stay away from complicated patterns and close fitting seams, remember this is a woven fabric and we want to stay away from closures when you’re first starting out with sequins.
