Wo simmer denn dran? Keine Farbunterschiede, keine Farbverflechtung. Manchmal muss man eben doch einfach ausprobieren!
When I'm craving a cozy dinner, I love to find recipes that strike the perfect balance of feel-good and comforting. And this Butternut Squash Orzo with Kale does just that! This is a naturally meatless dish that’s loaded with in-season vegetables like butternut squash and kale. The coziness enters the equation with a one-pot cooking method inspired by risotto. Shallow simmering the orzo and butternut squash together in vegetable stock creates a built-in, naturally creamy sauce with the best glossy texture (no heavy cream involved!). Bring it all together with kale and parmesan cheese for the perfect cozy, veggie-loaded meal, ready in 35 minutes or less! It's feel-good comfort food at its finest, and I hope you love it as much as we do. ♡ Happy cooking!

Some people believe there's a correlation between beautiful food and difficult food. However, I don't believe the two go hand-in-hand, and today's Pan-Seared Pork Chops with Apple Cider Cream Sauce prove it. We brine and then pan-sear pork chops until golden brown and juicy, then simmer them in a brown butter apple cider cream sauce and fried sage leaves.

Sage is a member of the mint family and imparts a peppery, savory flavor to dishes. Sage is a popular ingredient in sausage, stuffing, and roasted chicken. It does well in long simmering dishes where it can develop its flavor like a braise, ragu or pot of beans. But it can also have a lighter touch, simply sprinkled onto cheese or baked into cookies. And like most dried herbs, it can be brewed for a cup of tea. Weight Estimated Volume 1 oz 3/4 cup Origin: Croatia Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth
