Embrace the serene tranquility of the Scottish Highlands with this evocative minimalist print. Inspired by the majestic contours of Glen Nevis, this piece captures the essence of its landscape through a masterful interplay of geometric forms and a soothing colour palette. In this artwork, angular shapes provide a modern interpretation of the undulating hills and rugged peaks characteristic of Glen Nevis. Each form is bathed in varying shades of blue and green, imbuing the composition with a cool and calming atmosphere that reflects the crisp Highland air. The abstract nature of this print allows for a contemplative experience, as the eyes wander over the simplified planes and smooth transitions between the colour blocks. The reduced complexity ensures this print stands as a versatile contribution to any space, favoring tranquility and thoughtful abstraction over intricate detail. Whether adding a touch of minimalist elegance to a living room or introducing a serene focal point to an office space, this print is an ode to the timeless beauty of the Scottish wilderness, rendered in a style that complements the streamlined aesthetic of contemporary interiors.

My name is Lim Heng Swee, and I'm a self-taught illustrator from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Cats, for me, are very mysterious animals. I like their personalities, which are always curious, calm, and relaxed. I always feel soothed when observing their postures, and I found that the curves of cats can perfectly blend into natural landscape scenes. Therefore, I decided to create a series of cat landscape artworks in which the cats play hide and seek with you inside these minimal landscape artworks.
