Their freeform edges meander and wiggle, unbound by constrictions of mass productionMotifsMoroccan rugs don’t come with a key. As with any painting or poem, their motifs have many subjective interpretations. Originally made for personal use, these rugs took months to weave, documenting a shifting tide of events and emotions in the weaver’s lifeArtisanal and tribal, geometric designs feature angular edges and simple shapes—like diamonds, squares, lattices, and stylized animalsRegion of OriginTaznakht is a major market town and weaving center associated with the Ait Ouaouzguite and Zanafi. Rugs from this region can be identified by their tightly-woven and finely-knotted lowish pile and occasional anthropomorphic designs. Their frequent use of yellow is due to abundant local yellow-dye materials, like gorse flowers.Material DetailsWool, a staple in Moroccan rug design, was considered almost sacred to the Amazigh (Berber) people, whose nomadic lifestyle included sheep and goat herding. In addition to being available, wool is durable, long-lasting, and soft—so it’s super comfy to walk and relax on. In this piece, the wool pile is knotted onto a wool foundation, adding body and helping it hug the floor.Moroccan wool is locally sourced and produces a thick, strong pile that feels soft underfoot. Having stood the test of time, this hand-processed wool has reacted to its various environments, acquiring an untamed, nubby look and feel.Dust and dirt that accumulate in your rug can erode the fibers over time. The best way to combat this is to take your rug outside and give it a good shake once a week. Depending on how large it is, you may need to recruit a friend to help. Also, be sure to get a rug pad—this helps to preserve your rug in spite of dirt.If shaking it out isn’t possible, you can vacuum it instead—just be cautious, and don’t use a rotary vacuum, because it can damage the fibers. Once or twice a month, use the suction attachment gently, from side to side. Once or twice a year, flip your rug over and vacuum the back.Once a year, let it sunbathe. Hang it in the sun for a few hours when it’s hottest, and flip it over midway through, to expose both sides to direct sunlight. This sun-bleaching helps further sanitize the wool. It’s a natural method to bleach and deodorize it.To ensure equal wear and protect against walk patterns, change your rug's direction periodically. You can also flip your rug upside-down once in awhile, and use it like that for a bit. With Moroccan rugs, the back is typically as nice as the front.Every 3-5 years, we recommend getting your rug professionally hand-washed with a Moroccan rug expert. Please do not take it to get steam or dry cleaned—this will almost certainly damage the rug! Hand-washing requires the use of a pH-balanced shampoo, worked into the rug by hand with a soft-bristled brush, before being rinsed thoroughly. This process should be repeated a few times. In case of spills:If the spill is organic and non-oily (e.g., wine), use a paper towel or cloth to blot the liquid. Add some clean water sparingly to the spot to dilute the stain (or wet a paper towel or cloth) and blot. Repeat this process until the stain is removed. If the stain is persistent, resist the urge to scrub. Scrubbing can damage the wool fibers and more easily allow the stain to penetrate. You may try using a mild detergent, such as very diluted dishwashing soap, following the same blot-and-rinse procedure. If the spill is a denser, more oily liquid, try first to scoop what you can from the surface using a spoon or perhaps some heavier paper, and then do the blot-and-rinse. If the spill is significant, non-organic and/or composed of chemical substances, or the above methods don’t work, we suggest getting the rug professionally hand-washed as soon as possible. For rugs with deeply saturated color palettes, be sure to spot-clean them in an area that can be hosed down immediately after, as some color bleeding may occur.

Røros Tweed's Bislett throw, designed by Hallgeir Homstvedt, is a delight for all senses. The distinctive pattern is inspired by the Moiré phenomenon, which can occur when two similar patterns are layered on top of each other, creating a sense of movement. The Bislett throw has been named after Oslo’s main athletics track, which has a personal connection for the designer. High-quality home textiles by the Norwegian Røros Tweed are made from 100% Norwegian lambswool, shorn from sheep living free in the mountains. The manufacturing process is also kept fully in Norway to maintain high standards, which have been essential to the company's continued success since the 1940s.
Lewisia cotyledon is an evergreen perennial of incredible beauty and well-balanced proportions.

Coffee table, armchair etc. placed on your carpet. If there are any items, the places should be changed from time to time so that they do not make marks, and the contacted places should be swept with the tip of your vacuum cleaner. Air shedding is because your rug is produced with natural material. Nearly nothing in a short time with regular cleaning. >Stain Removal If something spills on your rug, action must be taken very quickly. In such cases, first of all, the excess liquid should be absorbed by applying a tampon with a paper towel before the liquid is dispersed, and cleaning agents containing bleaching chemicals (such as bleach) should not be used. The spilled area should be wiped with cold water and natural soap after tampon application. Wiping should be done with the help of a soft and white cloth in the direction of the pile, so as not to disperse the stain; Circular or anti-pile scrubbing should be avoided. >Deep Cleaning For deep cleaning of your rug, support should be sought from professional rug washing centers that are experts in hand rug washing. It should be emphasized to the washing center that your rug is produced from natural materials and that heavy chemical cleaners containing Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic) should not be used during washing. After cleaning, your rug should be dried in a short time without hanging it. Your rug should not be used when wet and should be protected from direct sunlight. >Information About Hand Made Rug Rugs have a very important place in the culture of Turkish people. From the past to the present, the loop techniques have changed from city to city, from city to city, from city to city. So, what do you pay attention to when purchasing such a quality woven rug? How do you know a quality hand woven rug or rug? >How to Tell Good Quality Hand-Made Rug? First of all, we need to know how to understand the quality of hand-woven rugs. The quality of the yarn used in weaving is one of the most important factors. If it is a wool or silk rug, the quality of the wool and silk used is a major factor on the quality of the rug. Secondly, the loop throwing technique used in weaving is also a very important factor. The shape of the loop differs in all regions. The loops of some regions extend the life of the rug with its non-attached nozzle feature, therefore, the weaving time of such rugs is longer and the price is different. But it should be noted that there is at least a double loop (knot). What we call double knot is also called Turkish knot or Gördes knot. >You can use our hand-woven carpets in bedrooms, living rooms, study rooms, children's rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, corridors, anywhere that is not exposed to direct sunlight. Thank You For Choosing Us Best Wishes Wholesalerrug.

The tangents in the Shasta Valley were about the only place on Southern Pacific's Siskiyou Line where the trains went fast enough that you could even try a pan shot. Here is the caboose of a Medford to Roseville Manifest in the spring of 1990 near Gazelle, California.
Hi! My name is Alexander Khimushin. Nine years ago I packed my backpack to see the world and have been globe-trotting ever since visited 85 countries. While world traveling, I realized that people are the most amazing part of it.

The Roosevelt elk (Cervus elaphus roosevelti), is the largest of the six recognized subspecies of elk in North America; they once occurred from southern British Columbia south to Sonoma County, California. Today Roosevelt elk in California persist only in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties, and western Siskiyou County. Seven elk herds call Redwood National and State Parks home, although at times these herds become loose aggregations of smaller groups. General herd locations are the Crescent Beach area, Gold Bluffs Beach and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park, Elk Meadow, Lower Redwood Creek, park lands in the Orick Valley, and the Bald Hills. By 2018, an elk herd had moved into Orick, CA. The Bald Hills herd is by far the largest in parks, numbering around 250 animals. The other herds range in size from approximately 10 to 50 animals. In Redwood National and State Parks, Roosevelt elk may be seen anywhere from Freshwater Lagoon to just south of the Klamath River and north of the Klamath near Crescent Beach and Crescent Beach Education Center. They may be encountered in virtually all habitat types including forests, prairies, along Redwood Creek gravel bars, and on the beaches.
