These links complement Sonlight’s Level 100 package. Please note that these activities may not be intended for the same age-range that this particular Sonlight package is designed for. Also, many of the educational webpages I have found were put together by public school teachers, and are intended for classroom use, so they’ll need to be modified for homeschooling. What kinds of resources do you find most helpful? I would love for you to leave me a comment at the bottom of the page letting me know! I am a mama with six children still at home. We have homeschooled for six years and all six years I have used Sonlight. Here is my review of the curriculum and why it has been the best homeschooling solution for our family.
A journey of seeing the world and myself more clearly through God's eyes. All pictures taken by me unless otherwise noted.
growing our children in the light of the Lord!
When you order a Sonlight Curriculum package, chances are you will get more materials than you can complete in your homeschool in a year. Most families don’t try to “do it all”! However, if you’re like me, occasionally you will read a book or hit upon a subject that your children are particularly interested in, and you want to learn more about it. That’s what this page is for! Several years ago, when my children were quite young, I began to compile a list of links to resources or activities that enhanced or supplemented the Sonlight materials we were using. I posted it on my website, and many Sonlighters have told me that they have found it to be very helpful. Each year I have added to that list. It’s an ongoing project, so if you have suggestions for me to add please leave a comment below. I’d also love to know what types of links you find most helpful. Preschool: Fiction, Fairy Tales and Fun PreK: Exploring God’s World A: Intro to the World Cultures (with supplementary reading list) B: Intro to World History, Year 1 of 2 C: Intro to World History, Year 2 of 2 D: Intro to American History, Year 1 of 2 E: Intro to American History, Year 2 of 2 F: Eastern Hemisphere G: World History, Year 1 of 2 H: World History, Year 2 of 2 100: American History and Literature
One of my favorite times of the year is when my new homeschool curriculum arrives. I teach multiple grades with Sonlight. Watch the unboxing!
I couldn't believe summer vacation was over and we were starting the first day back to school. I brought out The Kissing Hand, because it's become tradition to read it the first day of school! ❤️ Bible: I created a Psalm 1 Tracer for Jordan when he was in first grade. You can download it for…

Our family has used the Sonlight Curriculum in some fashion for the past seven years. Over the years we’ve moved through a variety of the Sonlight Core programmes, science programmes, and even a few of the language arts programmes. So it was that the 2018 school year found us with a student in Sonlight Core 300.

So you're comparing Sonlight and My Father's World (MFW), two of the top literature-based curriculums. Perhaps you love the idea of reading great literature aloud while your children gather round or you know that it is easier to relate to people of historical times with historical fiction than simply dates. Either way, I'm here to help. We…
