In his childhood, going through streets and alleys to the countryside and its people occupied his mind, but the trigger of his vocation was the vision of the English roosters and their colorful plumage that his father had on one of his farms and estates that he exploited in the fertile plain of Granada. At this time his father, given his son's evident fondness for painting, decided to install his first studio in the attic of his house and the first thing that Soria Aedo painted were roosters.
