Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter B. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their B element will be featured in their post. If you came from Linda then you're on the right track! My B is for Beloved Bouquet, which is January's Stamp of the Month. I used the floral image from this stamp set as the focal point on my Valentine's Day card. I embossed the background of this card with the Confetti Embossing Folder, and added some strips of La Vie En Rose Paper Packet for a black and white contrast. The flower looked a bit bare by itself with the sentiment so I added some splat hearts with the Documenting Moments stamp set. The finishing touch was some Red Enamel Hearts scattered over the card. Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Jen Benner of Jen's Messy Studio. In case you get lost along the way…go to Catherine Nowak for a complete list of participants! CTMH supplies used: Cardstock: Poppy, White Daisy Embellishments: Confetti Embossing Folder, Red Enamel Hearts Ink: Black, Poppy Paper Packet: La Vie En Rose Stamp sets: Beloved Bouquet, Documenting Moments
Another week has passed, and once again it is time for a sketch over at Atlantic Hearts. This week,I decided to have some fun with my card and use a common kitchen item on my card- a mini cupcake wrapper! These are great as you can sponge them any colour, and they act like a rosette. I added some Jubilee paper and bamboo cardstock, then stamped a flower and fussy cut it. I love this flower, it is from the retired Card Word Puzzle stamp set and I use it all the time! The Thank You sentiment is also a retired stamp set called A Garden. I would love to see how you are inspired by this week's sketch. CTMH supplies used: Paper: Jubilee Cardstock: Bamboo Ink: Cranberry Stamp sets: A Garden, Card Word Puzzle Tools: Tombow, Micro-Tip Scissors, 3D Foam Tape, Sponge.
