Hello, crafty friends!! Brenda Noelke here from My PaperCut Creations! I’m super excited to be guest posting on the Spellbinders blog today! I have three cards to share with you featuring the fantastic Parcel & Post Collection. I absolutely love that this collection can be used for so many different occasions just by switching up the colors, sentiment and die-cuts!! Birthday Wishes Parcel & Post Mailbox It seems that I am always in need of birthday cards, so that’s what I created first using the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set! I started by die-cutting all of the components from Lagoon, Lilac Blossom, Royal Amethyst, Pink Sand, Rainforest, Beeswax, Chamomile, Brushed Gold and bright pink cardstock. I also die-cut the bow and tiny circles for the flowers from Peony Pinks and Shimmering Tropics foam sheets. The sentiment, from the Parcel & Post Sentiments Clear Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto Lagoon cardstock and cut out with the rectangular die in the set. All of the elements were arranged and most of them were adhered together with liquid glue. The rectangular die-cut with the sentiment and the opening of the mailbox were adhered with foam tape. For the background, a panel of white cardstock was embossed with the Garden Path Embossing Folder of the Month and the Platinum 6. I trimmed it slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to a panel of Lagoon cardstock, then a white, top-folding card base. The mailbox and flowers were adhered to the front of the card with liquid glue. The final touch was a trio of Spectrum AB Color Essentials Gems added to the centers of the smaller flowers for a bit of sparkle and shine. Christmas Parcel & Post Mailbox The Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations Die Set is a wonderful addition to the Parcel & Post Mailbox! I just love all of the little die-cut accessories in this set! For this one, the mailbox and handle were die-cut from Cosmic Sky and Brushed Gold cardstock using the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set. All of the accessories are from the Parcel & Post Christmas Decoration Dies. They were die-cut from Phone Booth, Fern, Rainforest, Brushed Gold and White cardstock. The sentiment was foiled onto Cosmic Sky cardstock using the Glimmer Foiling System and Matte Gold Foil with the Christmas Mailbox Greetings Glimmer Hot Foil Plate Set, then cut out with the rectangle die in the Parcel & Post Mailbox Set. It was popped up, along with the opening of the mailbox, with foam tape. For the background on this one, the Forevergreen Embossing Folder was embossed onto a panel of white cardstock. I find that embossing folders are a great way to add interest to the background, without distracting from the focal point. The panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 size panel of Phone Booth cardstock, then a white, top-folding card base. Red Mix Color Essential Gems were the perfect finishing touch!! Love Parcel & Post Mailbox My last card would be perfect for Valentine’s Day, an Anniversary or just to let someone know how much you love them!! The Parcel & Post Heart Decorations Die Set includes some adorable heart and love dies that pair perfectly with the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set! For this one, the hearts and “love” were cut from Pink Sand and a foam sheet from the Peony Pinks Set using the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations Set. The mailbox and flower accessories were die-cut from Teal Topaz, Lagoon, Pink Sand, Brushed Silver and bright pink cardstock using the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set. The sentiment, from the Parcel & Post Sentiments Clear Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto Teal Topaz cardstock and cut out with the rectangular die in the set. The tiny hearts were die-cut from the rectangle using a die from the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations Set and backed with Pink Sand cardstock. All of the elements were arranged and most of them were adhered together with liquid glue. The rectangular die-cut with the sentiment and the opening of the mailbox were adhered with foam tape. The background was embossed onto white cardstock with the Spreading Love Embossing Folder of the Month. It was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 size panel of Pink Sand cardstock, then a white, top-folding card base. A trio of Spectrum AB Color Essentials Gems finishes this one off! Other supplies Versamark, Scotch foam tape, liquid glue, 110 lb. white cardstock, white detail embossing powder, bright pink cardstock. Thank you so much for joining me today for three ways to use the Parcel & Post Collection! Happy crafting!

It's Throwback Thursday, and I have a quick and easy Spellbinders Parcel and Post Christmas Tags Tutorial to share with you.
I wanted to pop in and share a couple more cards featuring the Spellbinders dies from the other day. In the last post, I shared how to create background patterns using the floral dies from the Typing Class and Post and Parcel Mailbox dies. This time, I’ve paired them with some of my favorite dies…
Hi there, this is Annie Williams and I’m excited to be back on the blog today to share a couple of projects using the new Parcel & Post Collection from Spellbinders. The unique designs and fun sentiments in this collection inspired me to create three bright and cheery cards for a variety of occasions. Christmas Mailbox Card I have such fond memories of big red mailboxes around the holidays that I had to use the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set to recreate one of them first. Here I stuffed my mailbox full of Christmas goodies for this pretty holiday card for a friend. Die cut Phone Booth, Mirror Gold, and Crimson Cardstock with the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set and assemble with liquid glue. Apply Gold Hot Foil to Phone Booth Cardstock using the Christmas Mailbox Greetings Glimmer Plate Set and cut it out with the mailbox panel die from the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set. Add to the front of the mailbox with foam adhesive. Die cute Forest, Fern, Rainforest, Poppy Field, Mirror Gold, and white cardstock with the Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations Die Set. Trim a piece of patterned paper to 4.125” x 5.375”, mat it with Forest Cardstock, and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with a tape runner. Pop the mailbox up in the center of the card front with foam adhesive. Add the accessories to the mailbox with liquid glue. Perfect for Valentine’s Day! The Parcel & Post Heart Decorations Die Set is so cute, I had to create a pretty love-themed mailbox next. Here I added lots of pink, red, and gold accessories to an elegant white mailbox for this pretty love card. Die cut white and Mirror Gold Cardstock with the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set and assemble with liquid glue. Apply Gold Hot Foil to white cardstock using the All Occasion Mailbox Greetings Glimmer Plate Set and cut it out with the mailbox panel die from the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set. Add to the front of the mailbox with foam adhesive. Die cut Dahlia, Phone Booth, Waterfall, and Fern Cardstock using the flower, envelope, and leaf dies from the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set. Assemble with liquid glue. Die cut white cardstock, Phone Booth Cardstock, and Gold Glitter Foam with the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations Die Set and assemble with liquid glue. Trim a piece of Pink Sand Cardstock to 4” x 5.25”, emboss it with the Heart And Soul Embossing Folder, mat with Mirror Gold Cardstock, and adhere to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with tape runner. Pop the mailbox up in the center of the card front with foam adhesive. Add the accessories to the mailbox with liquid glue. Embellish the flower centers with Gold Mix Gems. Sentiment as Focal Point Lastly, I thought any of the sentiments in the collection would work perfectly as a focal point on a card, so I stamped one of the greetings from the Parcel & Post Sentiments Stamp Set in bright ink and added tons of pretty floral to embellish. Trim a piece of Waterfall Cardstock to 4” x 5.25”, emboss it with the Party Spot Embossing Folder, and adhere it to a top-folding A2-sized white card base with foam adhesive. Stamp a greeting from the Parcel & Post Sentiments Stamp Set onto white cardstock using teal ink and cut it out using the Fluted Classics Squares Die Set. Die cut Pink Sand, Dahlia, Persimmon, Beeswax, Rainforest, and Fern Cardstock using the flower and leaf dies from the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set and assemble with liquid glue. Arrange the flowers in the center of the card and adhere down with liquid glue. Pop the sentiment panel up on top with foam adhesive. Embellish with Opal Color Essentials Gems. Other supplies White heavyweight cardstock, Versafine Clair Warm Breeze Ink, foam adhesive, tape runner, Carta Bella Farmhouse Christmas Paper Pad. I hope you enjoyed these colorful cards and thanks so much for stopping by today. You can find more inspiration over at my blog AnnieBWills.com.
Hello crafty friends! This is Rachel Alvarado from rachelalvaradodesigns.com and @theunpamperedstamper. I am thrilled to be guest designing on the Spellbinders Blog today and am so excited to share three fun projects with you featuring products from the new Parcel & Post Collection. Fun 3D Mail Box Pop-up Card For my first card, I created a 3D mailbox using the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set combined with both the Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations Die Set and Christmas Mailbox Greetings Hot Foil Set. I love creating 3D cards and this mailbox is perfect for making fun pop-up cards to send to your recipients. Depending on how high you place your decorations inside the mailbox, this card can fold perfectly to fit into a standard A2-sized envelope or a larger one if necessary. This design is actually pretty simple to make. To start, I first die-cut two mailboxes from some Phone Booth Card Stock. I trimmed off about 1/8” from each edge on the right side of my die cut (to get rid of the rear foot of the mailbox) and then used a rounded corner punch to round the top right corner of my mailbox again. Next, I created the sides of my mailbox by cutting two pieces of the same colored card stock to 3” x 2 ¾” and then used a scoring board to score each piece at ½’ and 2 ½” on the 3” side of the card stock. I folded (in the same direction) one of the card stock pieces along each score line to create two tabs and added some liquid adhesive to each tab. I then attached the back mailbox piece to one tab and the front mailbox piece to the other one. Next, I repeated the process on the other side. I then added four strips of red card stock inside my mailbox so that I could attach my decorations. I cut each strip to 3 ¼” x 2” and scored each piece at 3/8” from each end of the card stock along the 3 ¼” side. I used more liquid adhesive to adhere these pieces on the inside of the box. Lastly, I die-cut festive Christmas decorations from the Parcel & Post Christmas Decorations Die Set and glued them to the inside shelves of the box. To add my sentiment, I used the Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil System and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machines along with the Christmas Mailbox Greetings Hot Foil Set. Floral Mailbox Card For my next card, I used the Parcel & Post Mailbox Die Set and combined it with the All-Occasion Mailbox Greetings Hot Foil Set and Plaid Company Embossing Folder. To start, I first trimmed a piece of Chamomile Card Stock to 11” x 4.25” and scored along the long side of the card stock at 5.5” to create a top-folding A2-sized card. I then added a 4” x 5.25” piece of Snowdrift Card Stock that I had dry embossed with the Plaid Company Embossing Folder. Next, I die cut my mailbox pieces from both Blue Spruce and Lagoon Card Stock. I used the floral dies that come with the mailbox set and adhered them to the inside of my mailbox. I used the same colored foil as above (Champagne) to heat foil my sentiment using the All-Occasion Mailbox Greetings Hot Foil Set. To add a pop of dimension, I adhered all of my die-cut images to my card base with some 3D Foam Adhesive Tape. Love-Themed Mailbox Card For my last project, I created a love-themed card using the Parcel & Post Mailbox Set combined with the Parcel & Post Heart Decorations and Parcel & Post Sentiments Clear Stamp Set. The Parcel & Post Heart Decorations Set is super versatile and can be used for so many different occasions! For my color scheme, I used a mix of Blue Spruce, Waterfall, and Pink Sand Card Stock. I also added some bright red card stock that I had lying around. For my mailbox itself, I used some Silver Mirror Card Stock. I stamped my sentiment onto a piece of white card stock and quickly colored in the flowers with some Copic Markers (BG11, BG13; G40, G46; R35). Instead of using the cute little envelope die that comes with the Parcel & Post Mailbox Set, I stamped the envelope stamp that comes with the Parcel & Post Sentiments Clear Stamp Set onto a piece of white card stock and fussy cut it with some scissors. I love how detailed this envelope is and I think it looks so cute sticking out from the mailbox flap! I hope you all enjoyed my cards today! You can check out the entire amazing Parcel & Post Collection HERE! Wishing you all a lovely day!
