Being close to our Firestar guitar, we love having multiple sounds at hand, seated in a well positioned visual layout. All three Lollar Thunderbird pickups give you a broad spectrum of sounds, even the ones unheard until now. The mixture of these classic bass HB’s with a bolt on bass guitar reminds of bass concept thinkers like John Entwistle or Mike Watt. A bass should make a bass sound – this was the reason for its concept: Giving as much bass as possible, but only as much as needed. Strings are going through a yellow poplar body, ran over brass saddles and being held by Hipshot Ultralite Lollypops. The angled reversed headstock keeps strings aligned and cares for a very solid low E-string. Piezo disc and multiple switching options are the players creative field. Explore new, passive bass sounds with it! Enjoy! This bass is custom made for you. Building time is currently 9-12 months.

When you think of Slavic culture, the first things that come to mind are probably vodka, fur hats, and the Orthodox church. Polish photographer Marcin Nagraba, however, wanted to show the world a more ancient view of Slavic people in his dark pictures - by dialing it all the way back to Pagan times.

Artist Emil Alzamora explores the human body through his figurative sculptures that distort, inflate, elongate, and deconstruct physical forms in order to reveal emotional situations and narratives. Alzamora works with a variety of materials including bronze, gypsum, concrete, and other ceramic materials to create pieces with smooth, almost nondescript surfaces to instead draw attention to shape and scale. Born in Peru, he began sculpting in the fall of 1998 in New York at the Polich Tallix fine art foundry, and has since exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, most recently at Expo Chicago and the International Sculpture Symposium In Icheon in South Korea. Some photos are so chilling, it's just hard to look away. Even more so, a photo of a sculpture carries with it so much mystery that we just can't help try to uncover the real story behind it's eerie complexity and take a closer look.
Architecture is meant to fulfill both practical and expressive requirements, and thus it serves both utilitarian and aesthetic purposes. When you look at a structure, you can distinguish these two ends but they cannot be separated, and the relative weight each of them carry can vary widely. Plus, every society has its own, unique relationship to the natural world and its architecture usually reflects that as well, allowing people from other places to learn about their environment, as well as history, ceremonies, artistic sensibility, and many aspects of daily life.
