A couple of weeks ago I enjoyed attending an online event that was organised by Stampin' Up! It replaced an in person event and was enjoyed by over 10,000 Stampin' Up! demonstrators through out the world. We had the option of purchasing a goody box... here is the video of me opening it... I couldn't resist making these simple note cards with this new set that will be available to customers in January 2021. It's called Enjoy the Moment and it features dried seed pods from around the world. It's such an on trend set of images and I look forward to seeing how I can incorporate them into a stamped wreath. I teamed it with the set Comfort and Hope, it has some great texture stamps in it. For this set I used Gray Granite and Early Espresso. Here I experimented with Gray Granite, Old Olive and Granny Apple Green. The Stampin' Up! Notelet and Envelope packs make card making so easy. Here is the video of how I made them... If you would like a copy of the January to June 2021 mini catalogue, and you have not shopped with me in the last 6 months, please contact me and I'll arrange to send you one when they become available. Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects featuring in color theme. Check out the new 2019 - 2021 in colors and let’s not forget the current 2018 - 2020 in colors. If you would like a copy of the 2019 - 2020 annual catalogue, contact any of the girls on the blog hop and we will get in touch with you. In Color Collection 2019-2021 My first five cards that I have created, I’ve used the In-color Collection 2019-2021 are Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray and Purple Posy. They are all stunning colours and I just can’t decide which one I like the best. Purple Posy I’ve used the Bloom & Grow Bundle and my Stampin’ Blends to colour in the stamped image. They come in all of the new In-colors except for Terracotta Tile, so I used water colouring instead for that card. Seaside Spray I wanted to showcase the colours by running a piece of Cardstock through the Big Shot with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder. Pretty Peacock For the layering I placed a strip of Scalloped Linen Ribbon on the Embossing Folder. I then used Dimensionals with each layer for the Crumb Cake Stitched Label Die, stamped flower image and greeting. Terracotta Tile Rococo Rose Do you have a favourite of the new In-colors for 2019-2021? For my next five cards that I’ve created using the In-color Collection 2018-2020 are Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushel. In Color Collection 2018-2020 These colours are fun, bright happy colours and I wanted to create cards using the It Starts With Art Bundle. Lovely Lipstick To begin with I stamped the images in Stazon Jet Black Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock and then I used my Aqua Painter to colour in the images. This bundle comes with coordinating Arts & Crafts Dies so no fussy cutting was needed. Blueberry Bushel In this suite it has a Embossing Folder called Button Button, so I ran a piece of coloured Cardstock through with the Big Shot. Call Me Clover I used the Stitched Rectangles to Die cut out a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock. I wanted to show some variation in each of the colours so with my Aqua Painter I brushed colour onto the Cardstock starting with lighter shade and then adding more colour until I was happy with application. Grapefruit Grove The sentiment is also from the It Starts With Art stamp set. I just love the font and it fits nicely in the Stitched Rectangle Die. Pineapple Punch Before I layered everything onto the Whisper White Thick Cardstock I randomly stamped using two of the button stamps in the same colour. Once I was happy on how I was going to place everything I used my Multipurpose Liquid Glue and added Demensionals for the greeting. I hope you’ve enjoyed my cards today? It’s been a big week for me with three blogs to do and lots of cards that I have been creating. It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a colour challenge, and these are the colours we had to work with: These colours are right up my alley! I decided to use the Basket of Blooms stamp set and matching Small Bloom punch for my card. I coloured the images with my Blends. That gorgeous paper in the background is from the Magic in this Night DSP pack (in the Mini Catalogue). The sentiment is from the Little Treats stamp set and I also added some ribbon from the Playing with Patterns Combo Pack and a couple of Rhinestones. I hope you like my card! Herzlichst, Eure Karo *** Dieser Blogbeitrag enthält Werbung!
Hello, and welcome to the last Crazy Crafters Blog hop for 2018, our special guest today is Meg Loven from the United States. Meg has been a demonstrator since 2002, and was ranked #10 in the US for the 2017 Stampin' Up! year, such an honour to be hopping with her today. I visited Megs Pinterest board, so many lovely projects to choose from, and eventually decided to CASE the below card - the shortened front panel with decorative edge caught my attention, I like doing something that is a little different to the norm! Here's what I created featuring the You're Inspiring stamp set from page 31 of the Occasions catalogue. The stamped image is stunning, the detail and fine lines is just amazing, I was like "wow" that is gorgeous when I stamped it! I stamped the larger flower image multiple times, using post it notes to mask so I didn't overlap images of the foliage. Them it was to the trusty Stampin' Blends for colouring, I love colouring, and blending colours to create shadows and shades is so much fun - I cant get enough of them! Rather than adding ribbon to the inner panel of the card, I chose to emboss a pattern with one of the Petal Pair Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (Page 23 of the Occasions Catalogue), I'm really happy with this effect, and it's unlike a normal card. Grab a cuppa and take your time to hop all the way around our Crazy Crafters hop and see all the incredible creations, and if you have a chance please leave a comment, we love receiving comments! Hello & welcome! Today I have a sweet & fun card to share with you - my Just Add Ink Design Team project for this week's colour challenge and made for my darling man. It's a very supply friendly card, combining the cute & new to me Badger Besties stamp set with my well used fave, Biggest Wish, plus ink and card in Polished Pink and Soft Succulent. Some gold Gilded Leafing adds a luxe touch. And no dies or punches were needed - surprise! Here's my finished card. Let's start with the cute badger pair. I stamped two of the three badger images in the set with Memento black ink and coloured them using my Watercolour Pencils (black, gray & white). I didn't wet the image as I was trying to create the look of fur/hair (do badgers have fur or hair?). Then some fussy cutting & grumbling commenced as I'm a bit rusty, but I got there in the end. To create the background I stamped a cluster of both 'happy' sentiments in the Biggest Wish set. All the block letter images were stamped off first onto scrap. The script 'happy' is full strength. The cluster of words was inspired by the messy grid paper on my desk which had image tests from one of my World Card Making Day projects. Inspiration is everywhere I tell you. Check out Instagram to see what I worked on. The strips of coloured card anchor the badgers on the card, and the gold Gilded Leafing added touches of lovely shine. This was my first play with the leafing and oh my goodness what a mess I made. It does add a nice touch though don't you think? Inside is very simple, replicating the pink strip & stamp cluster, but it all adds to the coordination. So that's my take on the colour challenge. I hope my darling man loves his card as much as I enjoyed making it. Remember to check out the Just Add Ink blog to see all the beautiful cards created by the Team. It's always fun to see how everyone uses the same colours. Thanks for visiting today and I hope my card has given you some ideas to try. To try your own creation, head to my SU website to see and order all the supplies you need to make it. Leave a comment if you have any questions or just to say hi. Hello stamping friends. It's so good to have you here.Welcome to this month's edition of the Stamapin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop. This month we are creating projects either using the Hostess Stamp Sets from the 2019 - 2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue or gifts that you can give your hostess when they hold a party with you. International readers please use the translate feature, found in the side bar, to translate to your language. The hostess sets are a fabulous incentive for those who hold a Stampin' Up! party, to get some free products working with your demonstrator to host a Stampin' Up! party is a great way to experience the joy of creativity as you gather with your friends and earn free products. I'm showcasing for you today the Soft Spring Hostess Stamp Set. How gorgeous are those plant images? They look like lavender and wisteria to me. Either use the stamps to fill in the open line work or colour them in using Stampin' Blends or water colour. Soft Spring I've stamped some of the images on Crumb Cake cardstock and the others on Whisper White Thick cardstock for two different square card looks. Both coloured in with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. My first card I've used Memento tuxedo Black ink to stamp the images on Crumb Cake cardstock. I stamped the first lot of the plant image to to far left, stamped the same image on a Post-it note and then fussy cut that out. I covered the first image with the cut out Post-it note and then restamped the same image over the first image to make it look like they were layered together, using the masking technique. Because the actual stamps are photopolymer, I was able to 'bend' the stamp on the clear block to give the second stamping of the plant image to make it look like it was bending over slightly. I've then coloured the leaves with Mossy Meadow Dark & Light Stampin' Blends Markers and the 'lavender' tops with Highland Heather Dark & Light Stampin' Blends Makers. I finished the card off with a splatter of the Highland Heather Stampin' Write Markers, Embossed the top layer with the Subtle 3D embossing folder and some ribbon, trim and embellishments. The sentiment comes from the Free as a Bird Stamp Set, which has been heat embossed with Black Stampin' Emboss Powder. My second card this time has been stamped on Whisper White Thick Cardstock. I've started with the image that is used to stamp in the open line work of the 'wisteria' plant, to quickly add colour to the image. I've used this infill image to make a splatter look on the background of the card. Either using full strength ink or ink that has been stamped off once or twice. I love the fun look that this image gives to the background. After that I've used the Highland Heather Stampin' Write Marker for some added splatter. The 'wisteria' image I stamped on Whisper White Thick cardstock, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then coloured it in with Highland Heather Dark & Light, Mossy Meadow Dark & Light and Gray Granite Light Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers. How fun does the 'wisteria' image look on the Stitched Nested Label die cut? I've also embossed the Stitched Nested Die cut with the Subtle 3D embossing folder for that 'subtle' addition of texture. Again, all finished off with ribbon, trim, embellishments and the sentiment from the Free as a Bird stamp set. Host can earn this stamp set for free depending on the order totals for an entire party.
