Moody Mauve with Pansy Patch [Edit added] So delighted, my Moody Mauve Pansy card was a Global Design Project winner! Hello. Welcome to Valley Inspirations with Andrea and the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. We are working though the Stampin' Up! colours in alphabetical order, focussing on one colour each week, however, we are starting with the new colours, with the 2023-2025 In Colours first. This week’s Blog Hop is focussing on a muted reddy purple called Moody Mauve. Moody Mauve is part of the new 2023-2025 In Colour Family and is a colour I love - but then, I love muted colours. This colour would be lovely when used for flowers and all things mauve. I’m still exploring coordinating colours and have used Old Olive, some Mossy Meadow with a touch of Daffodil Delight in the card below. It also would go beautifully with Fresh Freesia. Moody Mauve is produced in Stampin' Up!'s card-stock, both A4 & 12"x12"; Classic Stampin' inks (ink pads & re-inkers); Stampin' Write Marker; Stampin' Blends Combo; In Color Designer Series Paper as well as Fresh As A Daisy, Earthen Elegance DSPs; plus In Color Luster Speciality Paper, Treat Bags & Grid Paper, In Color Textured Ribbon & Jute Trim; and In Color Dots. Moody Mauve card-stock, ink, In Color Textured Ribbon and In Color Dots have been used in the creation of this project plus a range of non-Moody Mauve bits and pieces. As Mothers’ Day was fast approaching I was looking at plants in my local nursery and saw some gorgeous pansies displaying Moody Mauve petals. I determined to water-colour die cut pansies for this Blog Hop. I then saw the newly released Global Design Project Challenge - #GDP394 so have used that layout for my card. I love to follow the GDP as most of the team have been and or are Stampin’ Up! Artisans. Always inspiring. Clicking on this image will take you to the GDP web site. The pansies, bud and leaves were cut from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper using the Pansy die set. These pieces were water-coloured - wet on wet technique using Moody Mauve Classic Stampin’ ink together with Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Classic inks. A piece of Basic White card-stock was used for the background. Delicate stencilling was added using a Foursquare Decorative Mask with Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadows inks. Patches of Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadow were added with Blending Brushes with some colour blending in areas. This panel was adhered directly to a Moody Mauve card-base. All the water-coloured flower, leaves and bud pieces were arranged with regard to the #GDP394 layout. A sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set was white heat embossed on Moody Mauve card-stock with Versamark ink, White Emboss Powder and a Heat Tool. As it was a really long sentiment, it was cut into three. Some Moody Mauve Textured Ribbon was cut lengthwise into 3 and the 2 edge pieces were tied into a bow and tucked under a pansy with Glue Dots. A few beautiful 2023-2025 In Color Dots added a final touch of shine. A Basic White card inner also was stencilled with Daffodil Delight and Mossy Meadows inks along the inner and bottom edges. Another sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts stamps was stamped with Moody Mauve ink. An envelope will be similarly stencilled. Thank you so much for dropping by. I so appreciate you spending time with me. There is more Moody Mauve creativity so do continue with the blog hop. Hello and welcome, My name is Vicki Boucher and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Today, I'll be sharing with you the fourth of many blog hops. It's Week 4 of Colour Creations with the Art With Heart Team in Australia. This week's colour is Pebbled Path which is part of the In Color Collection for 2023 - 2025 and Stampin' Up! have created another beautiful new color to create with. I've used it with Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Basic White and I added some bling by using that gorgeous More Dazzle Specialty Paper in Champagne. I had some left over daisies from a project I created on the weekend, and I wanted to use them again. The White heat embossed daisies from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set are stunning and when you add colour either with a Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber. It can give you a wow factor to your projects! I wanted to try out these colours together and I was very happy on how they turned out. The torn Basic White Cardstock was also left over from a previous card, I added Pebbled Path ink with the Blending Brush and Splattered ink by using the brush tip from the new Stampin' Up! markers. The other panel in Pebbled Path Cardstock is also torn down the side and dried embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I love to add texture and other elements to the card by adding other tools such as the Textured Floral Dies in die-cut out in Crumb Cake Cardstock. Linen Thread goes really well with Pebbled Path and my new favourite embellishment are the Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems. The sentiment is stamped in Pebbled Path ink using the Go To Greetings Stamp Set. Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love to hear your thoughts on my projects by leaving a comment below. Hello and welcome, It's the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI114 and this photo was chosen by Monica Formosa, I just love the earthy tones in the photo. The colour combination for #CI115 is So Saffron, Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Gray Granite. As well as the chosen colours you may also add Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and metallics to your project. We also allow 'Ivory' and 'Bronze' in the Stampin' Blends. If you don't have all the colour palette, feel free to use the closest SU substitute (ie: Crushed Curry instead of Bumblebee .... you get the drift). The challenge will run for almost 2 weeks until 7pm (AEST) on Monday 21st February 2022 details to follow at the end of my blog. Today's card is using the Happy Hedgehogs Bundle #157983 which is on page 64 of the new Stampin' Up! Jan- June 2022 Mini Catalogue. This bundle is so adorable and I have water coloured the stamped images using the fine tip brush from the Water Painters. I think Cajun Craze works well for the colour of the toadstool. I applied So Saffron Ink using the Blending Brush to the Basic White background panel and stamped the tree directly onto the panel in Bumblebee Ink. Then I added a die-cut circle in Basic White and stamped the tree again, but this time in Gray Granite. I'm always needing birthday cards so I used the greeting from the Art Gallery Stamp Set it's my go to stamp set for lots of different sentiments. I hope I've inspired you with the latest challenge and I do hope you'll join in. We so look forward to seeing a variety of projects using the challenge colours. Please ensure that your project is new and made specifically for this challenge. Use all of the challenge colours (or close substitutions) unless stated. Upload only one picture per entry straight to the discussion wall and not in an album Colour INKspiration Challenge #CI115 will run until 7pm (ADET) on Monday 21st February 2022. To get your creative ideas flowing, make sure you check out the Crew's Project in the CI115 Album. Please click on the link here to join the challenge. Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below. If you would like a copy of the new Stampin' Up! I inked up a new stamp set for this Pop-Up and Twist Panel card! Blooms & Wishes is a beautiful floral set. It was the fonts used for the sentiments in this stamp set that caught my eye at first, but I have loved playing with all the flower images on this card. The stamp set coordinates with the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series paper pack, so I chose all the colours based on those used for the papers. Once the card is opened, four panels 'pop' up ... It's very much a 'wow' card! I used the Watercolour Wings stamp set and matching framelits/thinlits to create the butterflies :o) You can view my previous Pop-Up And Twist Panel card HERE - which includes a link to Kevin Devine's tutorial :) ___________ Shop With Me Online - 24/7 Join My Team Find Me On Facebook Supplies Blooms & Wishes Photopolymer Stamps [141784] Watercolor Wings Photopolymer Stamp Set [139424] Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper [141654] White Vellum A4 Card Stock [106584] Sahara Sand A4 Card Stock [121695] Island Indigo A4 Card Stock [124390] Whisper White A4 Card Stock [106549] Blushing Bride Classic Stampin' Pad [131172] Mint Macaron Classic Stampin' Pad [138326] Sahara Sand Classic Stampin' Pad [126976] Island Indigo Classic Stampin' Pad [126986] Rich Razzlebberry Classic Stampin' Pad [126950] Sweet Sugarplum Classic Stampin' Pad [141395] Rhinestone Basic Jewels Embellishments [119246] Big Shot [143263] Big Shot Magnetic Platform [130658] Precision Base Plate [139684] Layering Ovals Framelits Dies [141706] Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies [138135] Butterflies Thinlits Dies [137360] Liquid Multipurpose Glue [110755] Stampin' Dimensionals [104430]
