Hello stamping friends, I have another sneak peek to share with you from the 2024-2025 Annual catalogue. As a demonstrstor we have access to preorders from new upcoming catalogues. When I first saw the Country Flowers Bundle, I knew it was one that I would love. The stamp set includes two different containers, three foliage and flower stamps, a stool and five greetings. For this card I stamped the front pail and flowers first. I created a mask for the pail and then stamped the stool and the teapot and flowers. I stamped the stool again on a piece of woodgrain card stock from the Country Woods DSP and fussy cut it out. I trimmed the stool so that it would fit behind the front pail. I coloured the image with my Blends Markers and cut out the image with a Deckled Rectangle Die. Happy Easter stamping friends, be sure to pop back soon for more peeks from the new catalogue. If you live in Australia and do not already have a demo, contact me and I can send you your own catalogue as soon as it's available. Happy stamping, Rachel

Hello and Welcome to Handmade by Julia Quinn. I'm part of a fantastic group of like minded crafters sharing inspiration in our monthly blog hop! This Month, we are sharing and featuring Watercolouring! Watercolouring is one of my favourite techniques - I can feel a bit artistic and not really need any skill!! The stamped images help do all the work for me! (And I do love the 'artistic look' of slightly messy watercolouring - no precision required!!) I'm featuring a NEW bundle/suite coming in our New Catalogue starting in May (perks of being a demonstrator is that I can get these things early!) called Country Woods. The background paper is the Country Woods DSP (and it has a look of watercolouring!!) and the stamp set is the Country Flowers stamp set. I've used watercolour paper and Saddle Brown stazon ink to stamp my images. I then added ink using a water painter. To add the ink, I smooshed my ink pad onto a stamping block, and then used my water painter to pick up the colour, water it down for changes in tone and shade, and then painted the image from the left to the right leaving some bits on the right side unpainted for light reflection. Inside the card is some more painted leaves and flowers just for fun!! Make sure you keep hopping to see LOTS of amazing projects!! I'm sure you'll love them all. Blog Hop Index Watercoloured Country Flowers Please head over to my online store if you wish to see these products in more detail - and you can place your order anytime (if you're in Australia) while you're there (even if you're in your pyjamas!!) And, if you can see yourself creating cards and sharing your love of papercrafts while inspiring others, perhaps you might be interested in joining my Stampin' Up! family - contact me to find out how.

Pumpkin Pie – it’s one of those colours that hasn’t had a lot of love from me. Do you find you have some colours like that? The time had to come with our Monochromatic Insta Hop where we featured the beauty of Pumpkin Pie. A guitar from the Rock Star bundle was perfect with this […]
Let's build on the simple stamped collage technique we used last week and add to it more variables to create collages with more elements and depth.
Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I'm introducing the cards we'll be making at my in-person card classes coming up next week. You'll make 3 beautiful cards and the cost is $20, which includes envelopes and printed instructions. All you need to bring are your scissors and favorite adhesives. The schedule is as follows: Thursday, June 23rd 12:00 Thursday, June 23rd 5:00 Sunday, June 26th 2:00 Now let's take a look at the cards you'll make. This first card is made with the Texture Chic Suite and Delicate Edges dies. The Suite includes the beautiful Texture Chic Designer Series Paper, Season of Chic Bundle, and the beautiful Distressed Gold Specialty paper. The price of the whole Suite is just $77.50 plus shipping and taxes. I will post a card I made using the Distressed Gold paper at the bottom of the post. Next is the cute Wild and Sweet card with the panda. He looks so peaceful. The third card introduces the beautiful Willow Tree bundle and I used the Texture Chic Designer Series Paper, again, for the background and the Fabulous Frames dies for the frame. I hope you like these cards and live in the Tallahassee, Florida area. I would love to have you attend my classes. Below is the card made with the Distressed Gold paper and also the Willow Dies. Also, I have entered the card below in a card competition sponsored by Kylie Bertucci, and I would appreciate it if you would take a minute to go over to my blog and vote for it. There's only a few more hours left to vote. Just click on the picture of the card below. Details for making this card are also on my blog. Thanks so much. Contact Me! Shop Here! I invite you to watch the VIDEO TUTORIAL REPLAY at the bottom of this post if you missed it live yesterday. We had so much fun stamping with the Tulip Fields stamp set, despite the small mishap with the Stamparatus magnet!! Yes, I'm sorry the Stamparatus photo above is a little blurry.. oops. But when you watch the video below, you'll get the idea and see why I used it. I wanted to line it up straight with the grid paper. For more info about the awesome Stamparatus, watch my series of 6 FREE instructional videos here!

Welcome to a new challenge at Colour INKspiration! This striking colour palette was chosen for us by Crew Member Lou Kitzelman. If you haven't played with us before, we are a group of Stampin' Up Demonstrators from the South Pacific. Challenges are shown and entered via our Facebook Group page. If you don't belong, and would like to, click here. Don't forget to answer the three easy questions you'll be asked when you ask to join the group. Each challenge, Top Picks and a winner are chosen by the crew and the winner offered a chance to Guest Design with us for a future challenge, although there is no Guest Designer for this challenge as we unusually had less than ten entries. If you don't have an exact challenge colour, feel free to replace it with whatever you have that's closest. - for example Garden Green for Shaded Spruce. Black, White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and metallics are free colours, as are flesh toned Stampin' Blends. The colours whispered that they were florals but I wanted something a little more than a floral spray, so I turned to what is fast becoming my favourite suite from the new catalogue, Texture Chic. This suite offers a stamp/die bundle (and oh, what a bundle!) plus gorgeous Distressed Gold Specialty paper and stunning Texture Chic Specialty DSP with its opulent touches of gold. There are images for every season: seashells, flowers, leaves and snowflakes along other grungy elements and a heap of fabulous sentiments. Although the seashells are my favourite, I went for the flowers and leaves on this one. I stamped two flowers in Blushing Bride on Whisper White. I die cut them plus an outline in Blushing Bride. I die cut the outline overlay from the Distressed Gold Specialty paper and some stamens in the same paper and Blushing Bride, then assembled the three central flowers. I cut various leaves from Shaded Spruce and Soft Succulent and some smaller die cut flowers from the Distressed Gold Specialty paper so I had plenty to play with when making up the cluster. The netting grid in behind is die cut from Shaded Spuce. I used the grunge splatter stamps to build a stamped background on the card front before adding the strips of DSP from the Texture Chic Specialty DSP pack then layering up the cluster. The embellishments are from the 2021-2023 In Colour Opal Rounds. Aren't they a fabulous addition to the bling stable? I'm very interested to see what everyone does with these interesting colours. Visit the Colour INKspiration site to check out the album of Crew Cards for inspiration. You can also add your entry there. We all enjoy seeing what you do with our colour palettes, so join in! If you live in New Zealand and don't have a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, I'd love to be yours. I can help you with ideas, get you catalogues and provide you with Stampin' Up products. Thanks for being with me during my YouTube presentation last night. I showcased three live projects using the Magnolia Mood Bundle. In case you couldn't catch it live, feel free to check out the replay below. The initial card features a distinctive die-cut window adorned with a stunning die-cut and watercolored magnolia, perfect for a birthday celebration. Utilizing the same bundle, the second card introduces an extra element to the background. I created a stamped background by directly coloring the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers. Following that, I embossed it with the Basics Embossing Folder for added texture. Every week,

One of the things I could not wait to get my hands on from the new 2021-2022 Stampin' Up Annual catalog were the Layering Diorama Dies! How cool are these? I thought they had so much potential and I am glad I finally got them out. This card was supposed to be for a Color Challenge for one of the many card challenges out there. But I just forgot about posting it! The color challenge was for Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent and Pale Papaya. I hadn't really thought of making my ocean 'pale Papaya before this challenge, which is the
Our daughter has been a high school teacher for fifteen years, and during that time has continued her education, including two Masters degrees - one in Education and Learning, and one in Mathematics Education. She is a year away from receiving her PhD in Leadership with a Mathematics Specialization (busy writing her dissertation now). She was just offered, and accepted, a position as a Mathematics Professor at a private college! No more dealing with smelly, mouthy teenagers, lol. Needless to say, we are so very proud of her. Her love of learning and love of teaching were evident from a very early age. I remember her lining up her stuffed animals and dolls and playing school when she was very young, and it warms my heart to see her following her passion and excelling at it! I made this card for her using the new Everyday Details bundle coming January 4th, along with an embossing folder from Sale-A-Bration. Her favorite colors are green and yellow, so.... Mossy Meadow and Granny Apple Green along with Lemon Lolly and Daffodil Delight were the chosen colors.

I was going to make a tri-fold card like the one on Cathy Proctor's blog (whatcathymade.com.au) but got a little carried away and made a sampler instead! The Crafting With You bundle is a great set for anyone who crafts. Whether you stamp, sew, paint or knit, it's all there for you. I do them all, so designing this project was fun for me. I used a piece of 12" x 12" Countryside Inn DSP for the base. Then I stamped and cut out all these little pieces using Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight and Basic White. After I arranged the larger pieces in the squares, I scattered the spools of thread, buttons and hearts around the sampler. It looks a bit like the way I craft....all over the place!
