Saat ini arsitektur stasiun ini serupa dengan Stasiun Ambarawa di Ambarawa, bahkan dulu beroperasi jalur kereta api dari Kedungjati ke Stasiun Ambarawa, yang sudah tidak beroperasi sejak tahun 1976.
