The pattern comes with the short and the long version I use to call these type of sweaters ‘Collar with sleeves’ :) because I am here for a maximum warm neck … and a good shoulder fit of course The REBEL cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down. Start working the collar separately. Then the back stitches are picked up from the collar and the upper back is shaped with increases. Stitches are then picked up from each side of the back to work the shoulders. All pieces are then joined to work the yoke with increases for the body and sleeves down to sleeve separation. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold, underarm sts are cast on, and you continue to work the body to the bottom. After the body is completed, the sleeve sts are worked top down in the round to the end. Beside of weaving in the ends, there is no further finishing required. Language English Level Easy/Intermediate Construction The Petra Sweater is worked bottom up in flat knitting, in garter and 1x1 rib band stitch. It’s an easy stitch but it requires to count rows. For both the front and back pieces, you will start by working 8 rows in 1x1 ribs, then work the rest of the body in garter and 1x1 rib band stitch. You will cast off stitches to shape the underarms, and then you will cast off stitches once you reach the neckline. You’ll work each shoulder separately with decreases to shape the neckline. The sleeves are also worked in flat knitting, from bottom to top. You will work the whole sleeve in garter and 1x1 rib band stitch, with increases to shape to sleeves. You will pick up stitches along the neckline to work the collar in garter and 1x1 rib band stitch with 4 mm needles. Shape and sizes The Petra Sweater is meant to be worn adjusted, with a comfortable ease. It goes down to the hips, and the sleeves stop at the wrists. I am still trying my hand at different medieval crafts. So I came across Nålebinding or needle binding. Needle binding is the precursor of knitting & crocheting. With knitting & crocheting you are using loops to form a fabric. With needle binding on the other hand you are using more or less complicated knots. For

This is a great project to use up all of your odds and ends of yarn, combining them together to make your own unique colour pallette of super chunky yarn. Depending on the yarns you choose, this can make it a substantial and quite weighty piece. It is bright and colourful, with a real 70's boho vibe. It is suitable for a beginner who has mastered the basics of knitting, casting on and off, colour changing using the intarsia method (tying in new colours as you go), knit and purl and some basic sewing up. Each stage of making this special design has been illustrated with images as well as written instructions. So, in spite of it being a freestyled knit, you will be able to reproduce it using these instructions. Feb 2022: The pattern has been fully updated with a clear layout, additional written instructions around the construction of the cardigan, tension and how to combine the yarns to achieve the correct weight of yarn.

There are two things I think all knitters love: Quick Projects and Garter Stitch 🙂 And maybe those are really the same thing! Mein erstes Freebook. Nur für den Privatgebrauch zu verwenden.
