I used the Stampin’ Up! host exclusive Seasoned with Kindness stamp set to create my card for the Stamp Ink Paper challenge this week.
It has been a crazy icy snowy blizzardy week so I was in the mood for some pink flowers! But a couple of stay at home snow days are good for the soul. There were cards to make, Oscar nominated movies to watch, and books to read by the fire.....and there may have been chocolate chip cookies involved. Ok so I may be hoping for another snow day next week..... Our resident Artisan Narelle Farrugia designed a wonderfully layered sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Have fun with it! This is, right now, my favorite stamp set from the New Stampin' Up!® Catalog. Seasoned with Kindness is a Hostess set and being a Demonstrator, I was able to get it early. I knew that I could make something right away with it. Many customers overlook these sets but they shouldn't, especially this year. The

Here we go again! seems like I just did last year's review and it's already time to do this year's. I enjoyed walking through my blog files and picking out my personal favorite project for each month. It was HARD!! But I chose just one, or this would be crazy long. Enjoy a quick "best of the best" tour during our 2018 Year in Review! In JANUARY we had just come out with Brusho Crystal Color and I was experimenting with it. It was messy and fun! In FEBRUARY my favorite project was this heart easel card with a chocolate...

Don't mind me... I'm supposed to be working on Christmas cards right now, but I keep playing with my new Seasoned with Kindness set! I just love the tin cans and the different herbs, especially combined with this sweet olive-tone plaid from the Under the Mistletoe papers. It just speaks of homey goodness and a simpler life, you know? A good thing to be reminded of when the world is moving a bit fast for me. Seasoned with Kindness is a hostess exclusive, so it's available to order with hostess credit on orders of $150 or more. So if you...

Hello and Happy Sunday! It’s time for another fun challenge over at The Paper Players. This week, Laurie is hosting our Clean-and-Simple (CAS) Challenge with the theme of: PLANTS. I hope you will join us and share your crafty creation. Click the link above to find out more about the challenge and the link to enter your project. For my card, I decided to use a Hostess Set from the Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog called Seasoned with Kindness. This set has some adorable little images and fit perfectly with the theme this week. What does a “hostess set” mean? This is a stamp set that can only be purchased using Host Rewards, either with a minimum $150 order or by hosting an event or a private class with sales at or above that amount. If you’d like to host a card making class with your friends, please reach out to me. I’d love to plan a fun afternoon or evening of stamping with you. Today’s Colors: Garden Green Granny Apple Green Smoky Slate Calypso Coral I used three of the Rectangle Stitched Dies for the stamped images. I stamped the images directly on the cardstock using Garden Green and Granny Apple Green ink. Then, I stamped the “container” images in Basic Gray ink on Smoky Slate cardstock. After cutting the containers out from the cardstock, I added a little Linen Thread detail around the top and popped the up on Stampin’ Dimensionals for a little more detail. On the center image, I added a little tag stamped in Calypso Coral ink. I just love how tiny and cute that tag is, don’t you? Card Measurements: Garden Green Card Base - 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”, scored at 4-1/4” Whisper White Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4” Brights DSP - 1/1/4” x 5-1/4” Garden Green Cardstock - 1-3/8” x 5-1/4” Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4” x 5-1/4” Finally, here is a peek inside the card. I just love that sweet sentiment, so perfect for a thank you card. I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share a project using this beautiful color combo. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday May 24th, 2019.
