"It seemed only natural that we have a surrealist inspired wedding as we are fascinated by the subconscious and bizarre", wrote Demi. "Surrealism is about desire, frenzy, and unconscious drives. This seemed very appropriate to our relationship. I also like the irony of the intense misogyny of surrealism mingled with the fact that a woman planned everything."
Gervasio Gallardo Gervasio Gallardo was a very talented artist that was born in Barcelona, Spain in 1934. Most of his work is oil paintings that contain images of his imagination. The genre of his work is surrealism and later in his life it turned into adult fantasy as well. He studied in Spain and late moved to Munich, Germany in 1959. He worked for four years in the Delphire Agency in Paris which helped him a lot. After he was done there, he traveled to the Us in 1963 where he met Frank and Jeff Lovaty who display his work today. In 1969, he was commisioned by Ballantine Books to do do Adult Fantasy paintings which he continued to do for many years. Gervasio was known for being a prolific producer of many book covers and surreal drawings. He did book covers for authors of sci-fi and fantasy books. His work is mainly displayed in Barcelona, Paris and the US. Through the years he won many awards in Europe and the US for his accomplishments. This is one of the book covers that Gervasio Gallardo did among the many others. Artists all over wanted his work work to on the cover of their books because of his amazing talent. All of these photos are famous images that Gervasio created. Though they were very impressive, he didnt give much unformation on what they meant or symbolized.
